Absolutely speechless. What can be said about a show like this? Nothing comes to mind, I just sit in "aw" and ponder how easy it is to get a pilot passed these days. A failed attempt at humour and most definitely a soon to fail pilot.
I can't begin to express the pointlessness and mindless banter that Daisy talks about. "Who, Who, Who let the dogs out?" I'm sorry, I missed the part where we're supposed to laugh. As awkward as this sounds, the shows puns are without pun. Watching her show is like listening to Lil' john rap, you get all hyped from the beat, but then you realise that all he says is "yyyeeaahhh", "hokaaayy" and " WHHAATT!". One step away from the infamous Paris Hilton - The Simple Life, only without eye candy. Tough break Daisy, I hope you didn't quit your day job.

If the Arquettes thought this show would appeal to the general public, then it's obvious they are completely out of touch. There is nothing funny or clever about ridiculing country folks or inner city kids for a cheap laugh. Daisy exploits these peoples' good nature as they welcome her into their communities to help Daisy achieve her bogus American "dream."
Daisy (and her producers) say that she's not afraid to embarrass herself, when it's obvious from watching the show that she is trying to make her guests look stupid with her attempted behind-the-back sarcasm and ridicule. Nevertheless, the Arquettes, Daisy, and TBS are the only ones being humiliated.
That being said, Daisy is just not very funny either: shaking some guys hand for five minutes, bugging her eyes at the camera, and running around like a lost child. None of that is original or very funny. Her dry attempt at slapstick humor would make the Three Stooges (and Benny Hill) cringe.
Maybe Daisy would be funny in another setting, but the whole premise of this show is offensive and definitely NOT funny.

I have to say that I think this show is extremely funny. When I was watching the one where she was showing dogs I was laughing so hard I was crying. Maybe the humor is "stupid" but I find it refreshing to see a WOMAN who can make you laugh and who isn't afraid to make an ass out of herself in the process. I like the very laid back stupid humor. I have to watch show after show and movie after movie of men acting like immature idiots. Lets see the women step up and be funny without being bitchy or bossy the way Daisy does. She seems like she would be a fun person to hang out with. It seems to me like she is making fun of the people she encounters as much making fun of herself in an non hurtful way. I think she would be a fun person to hang out with and I cant say that about most of the people I see on these other shows. And heres something, if you don't like it change the channel!
I'm not one to complain about TV shows, esp when I have the option of simply changing the channel but this show is absolutely the worst show ever made.
All this show does is play on the stupidity of Americans, they take ordinary (or somewhat eccentric) Americans and put them in awkward and uncomfortable situations while at the same time completely slandering and embarrassing them. Daisy, the "host" of this "show" is completely useless and is more embarrassing to the UK than anything...
Mark these very words you are reading, this show WILL be cancelled by the season's end - it's terrible. Patriot or not, it pains me to even have to watch a commercial for this horrible "comedy" - the only thing Courtney Cox did right was sign on with friends, after that, it's all been downhill.
Horrible, horrible show. WORST EPISODES EVER (simpsons fans you know what i'm talking about).
PS - shaking someone's hand for extended period of time...I mean, HOW IS THAT FUNNY??? Not that TBS is known for winners or anything...

Daisy does America.
Hmmm, let's get a random English woman, send her to various middle-America locations where she'll obviously be out of her element and have her exploit these simple folks who have been exploited before (Daily Show, etc) and are inherently easy to make fun of anyway.
The joke(s) must be in the presentation. Yeah, right.
The forced attempt at humor is painful to sit through. Yet another "reality" show (read : who needs writers) that misses the mark. Donovan is painfully unfunny as...herself(?). Cox and Arquette produced this tripe. Which goes to show if you have the money...you will be indulged.
More low humor served by and for the lowest common denominator.
