    Major Yawnfest

This movie is BOORRRR-ingggg. A veritable snoozefest about four young women who get together for weekend in the one girl's parent's farm house. It sounds like a typical horror movie beginnings, but it isn't. Just a series of unrelated subplots with very little dialog. About the only thing the women do together is drink wine and search the house for the source of a noise (which is never really revealed.) They could have at least spiced it up a little with some nudity or lesbian sex scenes, but it didn't even offer that.

It isn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but it is certainly the most dull.

    Lesbians eating pudding

I am giving this movie a 2 because it had good set design and the make up artists did a pretty good job.

This movie was awful, my girlfriend wanted to rent it and I would not bother writing a bad review if it was just some chick flick but this is not the standard girls get together and discover themselves or learn to love each other. Nothing happens in this movie, the interaction is dry and frankly unbelievable, everyone acts like they are on some kind of hardcore anti-depressant.

Honestly the people who like this movie are the people who have never seen a good art film before. The scene with the babies was pretty funny but other than that this film cheated to get that 5.8 rating it has because no one in their right mind could rate this as a 10 unless they are trying to bump its rating up.

You will feel blue-balled after watching this movie

The Negative Reviews are Correct - I think

OK. I'm watching this film right now and it is nearly over. I couldn't stand it any more and HAD to look and see what others thought of the film, because I just wasn't getting it.

But it turns out there is NOTHING to get! I would love to talk to someone who loved this film. What did you love? Specifically, what about this film made you rate it high? My suspicion is that a good percentage of lovers of this film could NOT tell you why. I suspect they liked the film because they were "supposed" to like it. You know?

The movie is called Lying. We the audience don't know what the lie is for a long time. I'm still not sure and the film is almost over. One woman is apparently deceiving the other three she's invited to her "country home" for the weekend. Now it's one thing for the audience to be in the position of the three girls; not knowing. But even when the girls figure out the lie it's STILL not clear what it is.

And if it's what I think it is.... well, so what?

The movie is beautifully shot. The house it takes place in is marvelous. I want to build a house just like it. The acting is good. And, it's got cool, hip and beautiful Chloe Sevign. But don't pretend to like this movie just because you don't get it, but think you should. Let all the bad reviews give you permission to be honest. And honestly, this movie is a waste of time.

The worst film I've ever seen

Even though the movie has an intriguing start it ends nowhere. Megan is setting up for the arrival of her friends, moving the furniture, hiding things, putting things away, etc. She brings boxes filled with dolls and the movie spends a ridiculous amount of time placing the dolls all over the front yard. Many small details are scattered around during this first part. The point is that when the girls come, all of this material just got wasted. The dialog is nonsensical, so are the actions and the plot. The only thing that made me watch me till the end is to see wheather or not the movie was going to bring the clues together. It did not. At the end, when the lights came on the whole audience in the room sighed in with relief and was happy to leave. My suggestion is: spare yourself 90 mins of your life, I almost see every movie that comes out and am able to pick the good points no matter how small they are out of every movie. In this one there's none.

    Kudos to M??

On the basis of the sycophantic self serving drivel of Kudos for M's review I have opted not to watch this movie. Seriously promo guys have a word with this idiot. Don't really have anything else to say as I've not watched the movie. I think the 4 out of 14 (soon to be 4 out of 15) comments on the review would support the fact that this guy is a monkey though. Just trying to get to the ten line requirement that will enable me to post this abuse. Kind of tired now, I'm not going to lie to you. Starting to regret it. Getting a bit of the old RSI on the wrist from all this typing. I think i've done it. Ho hum , stay frosty and uh kudos to M.
