    Very entertaining

Leroy and Stitch was a film I found very entertaining. I don't think it is as good as the original, which is wonderful and one of Disney's better movies of the 2000s, but I would put it on par with Lilo and Stitch 2:Stitch Has a Glitch, and a notch above the TV series. All of these though are better than Stitch the Movie, while not absolutely terrible, I did find it disappointing and mediocre to say the least.

I did think Leroy and Stitch was a little too short, and a little rushed at times. Also while the story was fast-paced and fun to watch, more could have been done with it, namely Nani and David's relationship and the platonic friendship between Lilo and Myrtle.

This aside, the animation is still lively and colourful, and the soundtrack is bright and breezy. The writing is witty, funny and warm, and the characters still have their infectious personalities, Lilo and Stitch are still cute, Jumba and Pleakley are still funny and Nani's personality thankfully is less distorted than it is in the series. Leroy is a worthy character too, and the voice work is also top notch. All in all, very entertaining. 7/10 Bethany Cox

    This Was My Endgame

After rewatching the original Lilo and stitch movie, the Sequels and the tv series, I decided to complete my stitch binge watch with the finale movie. As a kid I was obsessed with the world of stitch and all of the creative aliens and of course the Pokémon lover in me was thrilled when i saw there were so many experiments besides stitch with such a wide array of superpowers and gimmicks. I would print out pictures of each experiment and create my own logbook with drawings and profiles on each cousin. Funny enough I never was able to watch the show in its entirety, so everything I knew about stitches cousins came from a handful of episodes, the Stitch sequel and this movie. Let me just say that I must have paused this movie as a kid at least a 1000 times, trying to take pictures of every experiment with my kodak disposable camera. I wanted to capture the image of every experiment, because at the time there wasn't much merchandise or even info on each one and I was obsessed enough to do it myself. Ironically Lilo also has a similar book filled with pictures and info on the cousins, which this movie gives a lot of screentime to, making this world feel so much more alive. On rewatch, I felt such a surge of nostalgia, not just for the movie itself but for each experiment that I had just seen in the tv series, which made me feel rewarded for knowing all their names and powers. The movie's story takes place after the tv series, with each experiment being rehabilitated. The main cast of characters are all back, with each keeping their likeable personalities, however they are now forced to break up their family, with each character being given a new opportunity in space leaving Lilo behind on Hawaii. This sad subplot actually was very effective after watching the series and seeing how close they had all become as a family, thankfully this split does not last long. The villains from the tv series also return in all of their glory, with hamsterviel finally proving he is a threat to the galaxy by creating an evil clone of stich called Leroy who takes over the title. Leroy himself is not given a personality besides being evil, but his menace as well as funny evil moments make up for that. Surprisingly we get some villain redemption arcs in this movie, with the former Captain Gantu, who has been humiliated repeatedly in the tv show to the point you feel sorry for him, finally he completes his character arc by abandoning his evil ways and becoming a hero. Because he is my favorite character, this made me very happy. On top of that his sidekick 625 is given a name "Reuben" and also helps Lilo to save the day, while stitch is absent. The comedy is golden in this movie with so many laugh out loud moments which still hold up for me as an adult. The animation is very nice to look at, keeping its consistency with the original movie and the tv series. The action is truly special in this film, because it just feels so vibrant and energetic. The best part of the movie of course is the avenger's endgame moment, where all of stitches cousins are pitted against the Leroy clone army, which is done in spectacular fashion. There is so much going on in the chaos that you need to rewind to catch every detail of the battle. Lastly the heroes save the day with the good old song from the first movie, "Aloha Oe" that by the end of the performance always leaves me with a big dumb smile on my face, as the "Ohana" is finally saved, ending with a big group family picture that serves as a perfectly sweet ending to the franchise. The movie is still a fun watch, showing affection for Hawaiian culture and being a great sci-fi comedy. After watching the tv series, i can say that you do not need to watch every single episode to enjoy this movie, but watching a few will definitely enhance your enjoyment of seeing each experiment. All of these years later I still see this film more than just a movie spinoff to a Disney channel tv show, I see it as a grand finale of epic proportions, that also completed every single character's story with a ribbon on top. I know there was an anime that continued the story of stitch, but for me this is the true ending to this delightful world of hula dancing aliens.

"Leroy & Stitch: A Chaotic Yet Heartfelt Finale"

"Leroy & Stitch," the third sequel in the Lilo & Stitch franchise, serves as both a conclusion to the animated series and a farewell to the beloved characters fans have grown to cherish. The film follows Lilo as she helps Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley find new roles in the Galactic Federation, just as a new threat-Leroy, an evil Stitch clone-emerges. The film doubles down on sci-fi antics, with an emphasis on action, interstellar battles, and the return of Stitch's many "cousins." While the plot is a bit crowded, it still retains the warm themes of ohana (family) that define the series.

Compared to its predecessors, Leroy & Stitch leans heavily on spectacle rather than emotional depth. The original film's charm came from its grounded storytelling and emotional resonance, while the sequels have progressively moved toward a more formulaic, episodic structure. That said, this installment offers satisfying closure to long-running character arcs, particularly Stitch's evolution from a destructive experiment to a true hero. The final scenes are packed with callbacks and cameos that reward longtime viewers.

As for whether the franchise is getting better or worse, Leroy & Stitch lands somewhere in the middle. It lacks the emotional power of the original and the freshness of the first sequel (Stitch! The Movie), but it fares better than Lilo & Stitch 2, which struggled with tonal consistency. It's a serviceable, energetic finale that prioritizes fan service and action over storytelling nuance. Not groundbreaking, but for fans, it's a fun, fitting goodbye. Would you like a numerical rating or a visual summary to go with the review?

    better than expected

It was good, trying to follow the same formula as the previous movies, but I feel they didn't get it completely.

The story is decent and with some funny moments but also I feel that they were just recycling and repeating the previous movies stories. The plot was decent and convincing with a very good rhythm.

I like the music very much and the animation was great as it is always on Disney's movies.

The cast of voices was very decent and good.

In conclusion, this wasn't the best movie of the series by far, but I think its pretty enjoyable and entertaining to spend a good Sunday afternoon with the family.

A solid conclusion to the lilo and stitch tv series and a fun movie overall

Lilo and stitch was a big part of my childhood in that I loved the first movie so much as a child and even still do as an adult. It was mature, well written, adorable, heartwarming, funny, beatufulllly animated, nice music and acting, fun characters, good morals, good story, It's the full package. The francise I do think is also really lucky in that it's sequals and TV show were not bad at all. I would say they are all good fun and contuine the messages and heart of the oringnal movie well. They don't have as much substance with it themes, but the heart and charm remains in them. I think the reason why they worked compared to other Disney sequals is how they expanded on the world and lore of its ailens/location etc. They do a good job at showing that family's are not always perfect but we love each other regardless. The characters have flaws but oh man are they so lovable and goofy. The animation in this movie is not bad, the music is solid, the action is fun such as the climax, the characters are funny and fun, the story is likable, silly, easy to follow and has a good ending to it all. The themes of ohana play out well here and even tho stitch learnt the same lesson he already knew in the first movie doesn't bother me much due to the happiest he had with having such a great prize. He clearly still loved his ohana as well as jumba and pleakey did but sometimes we forget the things we learn and thats OK. Stitch is my favorite character in Disney in genral and I loved how he is still the same lovable goof ball throughout this francise. He is short tempered and is reckless at times with how he is chilidish but then again we can all be like that from Time to time But at the same time he is very loving and caring to those he cares about. He is loyal, cheerful, kind, silly, adorable and has a good character design. The writing is decent etc. The story itself tho is not groundbreaking, certain scenes feel rushed, mertle could have a better redemption arc, but I loved that gantu and rebean had a good change. Hamaterviel is funny tho not outstanding. Overall I don't get why this movie has low ratings and some hate, there are people who like this movie and I am one of them. A good ending to a good francise.
