The Orb

OK, I don't really know how to begin so I will just jump right in. I am impressed by the Orb. Considering what it cost to make the movie, I feel that the writers, actors, directors, camera men...etc. did an awesome job. I have seen big budget movies that weren't as good. Not to say it didn't have its lame moments. The orb falling from the sky... come on now. We all got a good laugh out of that. However, once the Orb lands on earth and emerges from its strawberry it looks great. Very impressive. Other than that, and maybe a line or two that is kinda cheesy this movie was done extremely well. I look forward to seeing what Sandust Productions does next.

This movie The Orb from 2005 was actually a lot of fun and I had a great time watching it. Even though I couldn't see what was happening the entire second half of the movie. I have no idea why but they chose to put a very thick blue filter on the color grading and it unfortunately left the second half of the film unwatchable. Like not a bad movie but I just couldn't see what was happening. The sex scenes were too long but the whole movie kept me interested. It definitely had a late nineties early 2000's Fred Durst quality and was really entertaining and kept me watching. I'll never really understand the whole movie cause I can't see it. Hopefully these guys will release a proper cut and take off that horrible blue filter. I imagine cause the Orb was blue they were trying to give you a feeling of blueness but it just is annoying. I don't know about you but I like to watch my movies.
