Ambitious in spite of budgetary constraints

This was a very ambitious project. While the acting is not pro, and some of the effects are wobbly, the passion poured into this project is strong. There are obvious influences from Star Wars, Gattaca, Bladerunner, and The Fifth Element.

If this director continues to make more films in this universe, I can see some renewed interest in the Science Fiction genre.

Also worth mentioning is the musical score. The industrial sound is very aggressive, and fits the mood of the film very well. There are some interesting noises in the atmosphere.

McCullough seems to have a painterly eye for visuals. Some of the shots are amazing.
