Misterio

It's a strange one this because it is about a real-life person - the story of Percy Marchand - or better known by his nom-de-guerre of 'Misterio' was the leader of the Trinchena Norte 'barras bravas' of 'La U' (Universitario de Deportes) but this series which is based on his life is very 'soapy' and I doubt this was his real life or it was anything like it but saying that - it is still good value and it goes on for ages and ages - it really does but despite that - Pierto Sibille always lends good value as the main role and his co-stars also play their part in making this a very watchable comedy-romantic (Yes! Believe it or not, because football hooligans fall in love too) -drama series.

The plot is something like this - Percy Marchand - middle class office worker who loves his old mum during the day - and in his spare time - the feared Misterio! Who led his crew of brigands against rival 'barras bravas' of Peruvian football with fearlessness and brutality - but he is more than just a violent brute - he is a hooligan with a heart!

Give it a go - it's good - 8 out of 10!
