Good and fun mecha series mixing western, mechas, quips and sci-fi in equal parts

The only real downside of it being the usual Yoshiyuki Tomino's sexism™ and misoginy™ creeping out in full force here and there, but other than that there are no real problems to account for, on the contrary it's pretty interesting to see for once an episodic series with ZERO filler to be found. If you want to laugh and have a good time, go safely with this one.

The spin-off film "Xabungle Graffiti" is a retelling of the story, but it has a much different ending. It features a happy ending with a romantic pairing of Elchi and Arthur Rank, characters who were respectively blind (Elchi) and dead (Arthur) by the end of the television series.
