    Touched by Fire: Bleeding Kansas

This film is obviously the result of a passion for history. The writers/producers brought together drama, humor, and facts to present a documentary that teaches while entertaining. So many documentaries are boring sound bites from boring historians. This documentary had much more depth. The historians spoke with intelligence about Kansas in the 1850s and its impact on the coming Civil War. The filmmakers used period pictures and music to give the viewers accurate images. They added unique graphics to appeal to those with an eye for more modern styles. They also re-created many of the more prominent events like the hanging of John Brown. The film moved quickly enough to keep the attention of the audience, even those not enthusiastic about the subject. This film was extremely well put together and professional. I look forward to the future endeavors of this company.
