    A solid stoner film

    7.5, really.

I think this is a really solid stoner movie. It has the 'quest' elements that good stoner movies have and it's a worthy quest - a shawshank redemption ("the shank") marathon on TNT that they just -have- to see.

I didn't find the jokes stale. The jokes themselves aren't all incredibly innovative but I thought Danny Masterson's acting lifted a lot of them to a higher level. Great comedic timing and he says a lot without saying it.

It would have received a higher grade if the ending didn't feel rushed.

Oh, and worth watching just for the -terrific-, but small, performances of John C. McGinley as scam artist, Ben Tolpin as Mikey and Terry Crews as a wanna-be rapper.

    Recommended.

    Ridiculous and funny

This is a straight up stoner movie. Its a small, hidden gem not many of my friends knew about until I showed them.

The main plot of the movie is about two buddies who get kicked out of their apartment for being consistently late on their rent. This is a problem, why? Because there's a Shawshank Redemption marathon playing on TV and watching their favorite movie is the goal of the day.

Many funny situations all happening over the course of one or two days. It eventually gets dry but its a perfect lazy watch if you're stoned. Hence the title Puff, Puff, Pass.

    Funny movie

The only reason I borrowed this movie because Mekhi Phifer was on the cover. But I was surprised at how hilarious this movie really was. It was also fun to see how many other celebs were in the movie. Danny basically furthered his "70s" role except this time it was Hyde uncensored. Terry Crews has a funny role as usual playing the fake gangsta rapper that can't rap. Bud Bundy looks exactly the same. And I do mean that. Now I did not agree with the whole Jesus scene (you will have to see it for yourself) but I had to ask for forgiveness for laughing at it. Did this movie come out in the theaters? I have no idea. Basically I'm just trying to reach the 10 line limit. Needless to say, I'd watch this again.

    Pretty Entertaining.

This movie was entertaining to say the least. Danny Masterson is one of my favorite actors and I have a thing for stoner/weed movies. Well, seeing him in the cast and the plot line, I just had to check this one out. Well 5 minutes in and I have laughed so much. These characters are so funny. I was thinking the writer is hilarious or my dealer is awesome. By the end of the movie I found that this had become one of my favorite movies. The constant references to The Shawshank Redemption was nice, too, because that's also one of my favorite movies. Alright, long story short great movie. I'd recommend this to a lot of friends, and if I know my friends, they will love it as well.

    Typical stoner flick

Not the greatest, but very decent. It's not a (stoner)movie that makes me choke on my patato chips from laughing. But of you like the genre, you're good to go. You watch it for the experience.

That's all I have to sat, but since the review needs at least 600 charachters, i'll write a little story about a sock. They name was smelly. Smelly the sock. Smelly had a very distinct odour, that's why the other socks didn't liked they hanging around. En because i need 132 more, Smelly also had a goldfish with one eye. Smelly was sad and lonely. But then they discovered the green good that masked they odour and they watched puff puff pass and choked on patato chips while laughing.

    • Trivia
The film was originally titled "Easier Softer Way" and had extensive scenes where Larry, Rico and Big Daddy team up with John DuPree in Nicaragua. He explains the "complex" nature of the Tiny Classified Ads, and how the Real Estate thing is also a scam, and what the real successful business is. The title had links to this plot line, and had nothing to do with the way they finally released the movie, so it was changed to suit the new focus of the plot.
