The previous sequel in the series didn't improve on the formula or kick nude visuals up a notch which was fine with me. It remained solid. I assumed 'Sexy Lingerie V' would continue charting this course. To my pleasant surprise it spiked in quality going the opposite direction.
Another unique intro sets the stage for lingerie as Playmates (Barbara Moore, Corinna Harney, Echo Johnson, Wendy Kaye) are shown looking either glamorous or straight up nude (1.5 mins). "Fashion Passion" has the idea of models doing the runway to show Playmates (Tiffany Sloan, Echo Johnson, Christina Leardini, Barbara Moore) strutting their stuff. The good news is when it eventually gets down to business you get the kind of arousing views you desire. Bad news is it wasted two minutes at the start and there's shots on the runaway in between as filler. One of those scenes that's ultimately good though (5 mins). "Heavenly Heat" is all about flames, lingerie and that's alright when it means naked sights constantly from Playmates (Corinna Harney, Samantha Dorman, Debra Jo Fondren) here. They all look great with no shortage of pleasant shots (3 mins).
"The Heist" sees cat burglars (Wendy Hamilton, Wendy Kaye, Jennifer Leroy) crack a bank vault to get at - wait for this - the fancy lingerie within. It's a silly setup complete with a snoozing security guard, but when it has the ladies naked continuously and posed in plenty of great shots its not like you really care (4.5 mins). "Video Vamps" sees a spicy trio (Tiffany Sloan, Jennifer Leroy, Erin O'Bryan) posing sexily for their own video production. The lingerie they wear doesn't stay on very long before many shots, poses naked including closeups (3.5 mins). "Writer's Block" has the feels of a Private Eye piece, but a writer's story achieves the same thing. Two hot dames (Samantha Dorman, Morgan Fox) strip from their dresses and individually make out with him in the office. Best pieces come courtesy of him grabbing Morgan's boobs and Samantha's butt in closeup. Unfortunately it's another scene that wasted too much time to arrive at this point as first three minutes went to setup and non-nude visuals (6 mins).
"Room Mates" sees its three females (Tiffany Sloan, Jennifer Leroy, Erin O'Bryan) bounce between strips from either lingerie or regular clothes. A pleasant vibe, quick shots and well edited means the right visuals at a good pace (3 mins). "Vision in White" is a loose piece on weddings and lingerie as hot ladies (Wendy Kaye, Wendy Hamilton, Tiffany Sloan) are shown in various states of undress. It might purposely move slowly, but no denying they get shown off nude quite a lot (3.5 mins). "Legs" spells out the focus as all ladies (Echo Johnson, Barbara Moore) show 'em off typically in leggings or stockings. Though there's plenty of views of their boobs, butts too. No shortage of panning shots or closeups neither (3 mins).
"The Wild Side" is a dude in a peepshow booth watching the lady (Erin O'Bryan) energetically getting naked. The sights start with her solo in pleasing fashion before his own fantasy of getting it on with her are intercut. Spicy shot of him devouring one of her boobs and licking her nipple by PB standards is worth a mention, but Erin's solo work is rocks too (4.5 mins). "In the Mood" needs nothing more than flower pedals in bed to showcase ladies (Corinna Harney, Barbara Moore, Echo Johnson) first in lingerie before shots flow of them naked. Whole entirety is good, but Barbara in particular stole it for me (4.5 mins). "Night Life" has a dude and two ladies (Tiffany Sloan, Wendy Hamilton) enjoying the LA nightlife. Bare with the initial setup for a minute because good shots of Wendy and Tiffany are soon to come. In fact they come pretty constant other than quick cutaways back to the street. If you wanna soak up their bodies this accomplishes it (4.5 mins).
'Sexy Lingerie V' as noted features scenes that waste time on setups and story which no one honestly comes looking for in a title like this. That said the visuals are largely top notch and there's no really bad or poor segments to derail the momentum. As far as the series has gone it doesn't feature those most popular Playmates, but it delivers the best.
