Gives only fair entertainment

Typically a Western picture, this two-part offering gives only fair entertainment. The story is not strongly convincing, nor is it one that stirs pleasant emotions. If it had been a powerful showing of real life, the latter shortcoming would not have mattered much. The girl refuses a poor lover for a man who soon falls. Time changes the financial status of the men and the once rich man now steals from the other. The thief dies in the desert and the once poor lover gets the girl. - The Moving Picture World, July 25, 1914
