What a wonderful dark, charming, and a little sad short film. I wish this director made more films because the detailed bleak yet beautiful world he brings to life are captivating. After watching Franklin I decided to look for whatever else he created and this short is all I could find. The twists in his plots are unexpected. This story in particular had a few layers of complexity and built the characters into feeling beings in the short time he had them in front of us. I would've loved to see the whole story of the actor in a full length film. It would definitely keep my attention. I truly hope the director decides to continue imaging new worlds and we can get to see more of his stories in the future.
