    Thumbs WAY up!

I finally got a chance to see this. I highly recommend it! I'm sure those of you who enjoy animation will enjoy this. I got to see more details at Wizard World Chicago. It's what got me interested in seeing this and it was worth it. So take the time to see this. I'm sure you'll be glad you did. Don't forget to check out more information at www.superverse.com. It's a pretty cool site where you can get more details about the movie and other items. There are even Limited Edition Trading Cards available. There are only 1,000 numbered sets and some of the big names in illustrators have contributed. I mean, how can you go wrong when even comic legend Gene Colan has a part in it?

    Great Short

I have never been an avid comic books reader, but I love sci-fi and all forms of animation, and this is a great piece. Based on this short, I'd be interested in seeing more from this studio. Either shorts or a full-length feature. The story and animation are both very good. I especially like the fact that they rendered this in a widescreen format, even though the "preferred" viewing method for something of this nature (i.e. web page) is going to be the screen sitting on your desktop. This would sort of indicate that they are exploring the wider format for composition purposes in order to prepare for some other type of release - whether that is a feature or DVD that can take advantage of the growing popularity of wide-screen TV sets is yet to be seen.

    Makes me feel young again!

I saw the trailer of this flick and thought it was spectacular! The references to real history, politics and reality I thought was a great touch. The graphics and animation were awesome, cutting edge, but at the same time had a lot of old school appeal. The soundtrack was right on and was really flowed with the visuals. I guess this is every kids dream day to have such technology fall out of the sky. I have not seen the full film yet but most definitely plan to when it becomes possible. A friend of mine turned me on to the movie and this web site to check out the preview and I am really glad he did. I would recommend this movie from what I saw to folks of all ages as it seems to be headed in the right direction. Thanks much for the opportunity to view! Joey

Incredible Animation Leaves You Wanting MORE!

I recently saw Zoom Suit previewed during the Palm Beach International Film Festival in April 2005. I've had the pleasure of working on several independent films with the extremely talented director, John Taddeo. This project is one of his top film creations, staffed by a team of visionary artists. The animation is unreal, bringing the comic book characters to life. John Taddeo is the creative genius behind the concept and direction of the film. His experience in storyboard creation and independent film-making is visible throughout every shot. Every scene was extremely artistic, paying close attention to the smallest of details. The sound effects were ear popping and set quake-like vibrations throughout the theater. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Taddeo has in store for Zoom 2!

    Entertaining little short...

What first drew me to the Zoom Suit was it's numerous connections to Marvel's Iron Man. Now that I have a feel for the character, there is some of that, but it's woven its own storyline with a main character that is a whole lot less sure of himself, apt to make mistakes & lose confidence. Iron Man was cool and collected, always seemingly in control, Zoom Suit offers someone a little more like the rest of us...

The short is a bit rough around the edges, and the stylized visuals seem a bit irregular, jerky, but it's not bad (the prerendered bit at the end was quite nice though). This is early, and the finished product promises to be something to get excited about, especially if they keep drawing from talents like Gene Colan and Bob Layton.
