Shysters on the small screen ..........

In this very short-lived series, the characters from the great movie Film-Flam Man were brought to Television. Forrest Tucker took over the role from George C. Scott and did a decent job of playing the part.

Dub Taylor, Gene Evans and a number of other familiar faces appeared in this tale of a confidence man scamming his way through the South. The tone of the show was not unlike the later Dukes of Hazzard, but perhaps was a little too ahead of its time.

Most decent movies have faltered when translated to Television. This was no exception ....... Fans of Forrest Tucker on TV should stick with the great F-Troop instead.
