    Very good thriller

Sometimes, when seeking a movie nothing will do except a good thriller. Dead Line certainly fits the bill.

A little warning however: if you are going to watch this film you are better off not knowing too much specifics about the plot.

The plot thickens as the film goes by. A really remarkably well built tension mounts.

It is deep and horrifying. It goes all the way to the darkest places in human mind.

The plot also has some very surprising shifts.

Just wait till nightfall, turn off the light and watch this film.

I'm really sorry guys, I found this film terrible

This said, I have actually seen much worse movies than Dead Line. I personally don't agree at all with the glowing comments, nor do I agree with the rather ignorant attacks made against them(sometimes I wonder if people know of the word opinion let alone the meaning of it), as much as I do agree with a lot of the negatives that I have seen regarding Dead Line. Dead Line does have one redeeming quality and that is Virginia Lustig, she is smoking hot and her performance is pretty decent. Unfortunately the rest of the cast are all over the place with a lot of serious overacting going on. The filming is incredibly amateurish, everything just looks so slipshod and there are even moments where it is incoherent. The dialogue is insufferably stilted with not one ounce of believability, and I didn't care for a single character, none of them were likable and ranged from bland to annoying. But the biggest problem was the story, it didn't interest me in the slightest, there is no suspense or scares(the homosexual attraction thing was the only thing that came somewhat as a surprise) and I found the identity of the killer obvious within ten minutes from his body language and how he behaved. All in all, neither as good or quite as bad as it is made out to be, however I did find Dead Line to be terrible. 2/10 Bethany Cox

    Not THAT bad but....

Viewing some of the adamant comments by the two hell bent posters condemning this film I can only come to the conclusion that they haven't seen much in the way of no budget independent film and have very little patience for it anyway. My advice to them is to stick to polished mainstream efforts which spell it all out for you. Okay,Interferencia is technically pretty amateurish the shots aren't even framed correctly in some scenes and it has a disjointed naturalistic quality to it. The acting by much of the cast is obviously done by non professionals,as some of the performances tend to lean toward the broad category. Considering this is about one man's increasing paranoia about a killer's conversation he accidentally overhears the crude nature of the film and increasingly screetching cacophony of the score lends itself well to protagonist Martin's ever growing state of hysteria. His skewed perspective is what we follow here and the outcome is based on a seldom used literary plot twist that although successful in that medium requires a bit more craftsmanship to pull off in a visual one. That's where Interferencia's reach exceeds it's grasp and some of the viewer's suspension of disbelief may not go quite that far. It didn't for me. An ambitious effort for a micro budget film but not quite the masterwork or worst film in the world that some of the posters here will lead you to believe.

    No budget

I used to dislike horror movies, considered them stupid. But, anyway, it happens I make exceptions. I find something really cool in this film. Rarely have I ever seen a film that has scared the crap out of me but I tell you the truth this film gave me shivers down my neck. Unlike most horror films this one cares about the development of the characters. Yes, it is true, is a film with very low production value. Yes, no doubt I've seen short films with better sound. But I submerged myself in the plot and I could not leave until the film ended. I recommend this film and I'm glad that Asylum are finally bringing out good horror movies these days

    Well crafted

It's become extremely difficult to find a good horror movie anymore, thought this movie was a good thriller.

Could have had better production values but what kept me going was the suspense and the twists. I had real reservations before seeing this movie (because of the cover). I was afraid that it would be excessively bloody and gory. I was wrong.

Although there is a lot of scary parts, there is a lot of suspense and drama too.

The acting in Dead Line was better than what you would expect from a micro budget horror flick. The characters were believable

The movie is really thrilling and quite scary at moments so it makes you grab your seat until the ending credits roll

Because of its production values (the sound is not very good for example) 8/10.
