    Story

Actually, this story is about to childhood friends. Chaudhary Karmjit Singh played by Mukesh Khanna and Hardial Singh played by Girja Shankar. Karmjit Singh married his love Nikki and Hardial refused to accept this because of a very old fued between Hardial's father and Nikki's father which caused the death of Hardial's father. After breaking his friendship with Karmjit, Hardial sells his land and house and moves to the city. Not revealing the full story, at the end, the story turns into a hatred between Hindus and Sikhs. But at the end, Hardial realizes his mistakes and finally calls Nikki Bhabi.

    Must Watch

I remember watching and enjoying this mini-series in the late 80s and early 90s. This mini-series is produced and directed by the creators of Mahabharat. I watched it after watching Mahabharat, and it was interesting to see the same actors in different roles. The mini-series has a gripping plot and runs at a decent pace, and I recommend watching it. The leading cast members Mukesh Khanna and Girja Shankar have performed well. Mayur Verma and Gufi Paintal's performances deserve a special mention, especially Gufi Paintal. He played the character of the villainous Shakuni in Mahabharat convincing well; in this mini-series, he, with great ease, plays a positive role which shows how versatile he is. Overall a good solid 8 out of 10.
