    nothing different

This is pretty much a revised KOF 2002, just with different backgrounds and a few new characters. I still gave it a seven because it's still a decent game otherwise. Usually, when it comes to KOF games, if you've played one, you've played them all. The backgrounds here are mostly in 3D and they look better than the ones in KOF 2003. The sound isn't that great. If there's one downfall in the KOF games is that the reused sounds start to go stale after a while and it shows really blatantly here. The character voices sound really grainy. SNK should really record some new sounds. Tune up the sound quality and add more modes and this game would be better. No one can tell me that it wouldn't work because look at Street Fighter Alpha 3, that game is loaded with features.
