I've seen the whole series and I really enjoyed it. Alan Eriera's style is very engaging, effortlessly, it seems, managing to put things in accessible terms and yet without dumbing down the content. This is a tall order especially considering that the very idea of 1000 years of history in less than six hours of television must necessarily lean towards the tabloid.

At the outset we're promised all sorts of intrigue and surprises and it's certainly delivered. Interesting, fast paced and yet informative, this series should be on the national curriculum it's that good! I would have to really dig deep to come up with a critical word, but if I had to ask the question it would be why hasn't Ereira presented before? He's excellent and I look forward to his next writing/presenting project.

I found myself enthusiastically recommending the show to a friend, even at the risk of sounding like a nerd. Of course they loved it.

Surely this one must win some awards. Must see TV. Hats off!
