    Heaven or Hell?

Low budget production, but not so without quality, Final Exit works the theme of Heaven and Hell of a way intelligent and reflective.

The lives of four people on earth ends: Dr. Cap (James Grant), winner of a Nobel Peace Prize; Daryl (Larry Roop), a convicted rapist to death, Melanie (Meagan Mangum), a young Christian and Jeremy (Aaron Priest), a Christian boy, all them are taken to the Final Judgment.

Intriguing and revealing, Final Exit shows the eternal destiny of all people after death from the perspectives of its four protagonists. With unique and different stories, but they are at a given moment in the characters' lives, the film explores the character and most secret interests of the people and shows that the eternal destiny will be a surprise to the vast majority of society.

Using simple effects, but that works well, Final Exit makes use of black and white to indicate a character's past, color inversion during the transition from the present to memory and even rubber masks. However, this does not devalue or disparage his exceptional storyline, showing that a good story outweighs any limitation of film.

Edifying, Final Exit reminds us about the biblical verse of not judging others and shows how Eternity will be a big surprise. People that we believed that live in Heaven, can not it, and those we imagined that go to Hell may not be in it...

OMG! Like Left Behind, but worse.

Deserves a zero, terrible acting, terrible plot line, no conclusion. They took the left behind books (sort of) hacked out the good parts, replaced the actors with people who have never been in anything (except like 75% of them were in Walker: Texas Ranger at one point or another) and then gave them a cheesy script and told them to over react to situations as much as possible. Also, i doubt that there is a neutral zone in heaven, so whoever wrote the movie watched way to much star trek and didn't ever read the Bible. The movie was short... Possibly enough grounds for 1 star. One of the angel dudes sounded like Elvis... I don't know if thats a + or a - for the movie...

An awful, pro-Christian, anti-everything else, propaganda film.

The film depicts 4 people, two Christian teens, a convicted murderer, and Jewish Nobel peace-prize winner, in the after life. Their fates are being decided by a demon and two angels, attempting to figure out where they should go; to heaven or hell. While the murderer is quickly forgiven by the angels for praying to Jesus his night on death row, he is not so quick to forgive the Nobel prize winning Jew. The Jew is forced to conform to Christian beliefs to gain access to heaven, and is mocked when he tells the demon he doesn't believe in hell. Its production studio describes it as a hard-hitting drama, while in reality it is unrealistic, close-minded garbage.

    An appalling film

This is an appalling, horrendous film. It is extremely unchristian. But it might have appealed to Cotton Mather. A rapist/murderer gains entry into heaven because he bawls the night before his execution. Conversely, a man who has done all he can for humanity is destined for hell because his beliefs do not parallel those of the filmmakers. The most unchristian scene shows a teen girl, one of the rapist/murderer's victims, being tortured in hell. I cannot believe such narrow-minded anti-Christian doctrine is propagated in Final Exit and sold as "christian." The acting is atrocious. The direction pathetic. It is micro-budget, intolerant trash.

    It was not bad

We're all entitled to an opinion, and Danny Corrales made his. Whether we believe or not, the Christian view point is valid and, if it is true, we all need to give serious consideration to our eternal future.

The film was well made for such a low-budget piece. Most of the acting was quite solid. I especially enjoyed Larry Roop, the actor who portrayed Darryl, the convicted rapist. One thing that bothered me about the plot was trying to tie, or the lack of tying, the four main characters together. It was not entirely clear to me that although these are four different people, they were all headed toward a common crossroads. I also did not understand why the gunman (played by Steve Miller) was so set against Dr. Cap. Who was giving him orders?

That aside, the film was not a "turn it off before you finish" type. This is not a big budget film, but don't let that deter you from giving it an open-minded viewing.
