I guess this show is okay. I mean, it could be a lot worse. At least the characters actually have personality and they don't all sound the same. The humor isn't actually that bad, considering this is a show for children. The last time I watched I didn't find any fart jokes, and there is honestly nothing I hate more than thirty minutes of "Hey kids! Let's fart because they sound funny!" I guess that compared to a lot of garbage on television nowadays, this show really isn't that bad for children. Children laugh at jokes without inappropriateness, randomness, or hidden innuendo for adults who might be watching, so that's really all that matters. The only things that really bug me though are the main character Lazlo, whom I find to be just plain annoying (voice, animation, personality, the whole enchilada), and the theme song, which is probably the most annoying theme song I have ever heard (and I've heard Fanboy and Chum Chum, so that's saying something). But that's just me. Other than those, I can't find any reason to hate this show. As long as kids like it and it's good, clean fun, then that's good enough for me.
I was an enthusiastic Scout, and later Scouter and Eagle Scout Dad, and as cheesy as you might find "Camp Lazlo", I found it to be a cute, nostalgic trip down memory lane and my days in Scouting. I identified with everyone and everything from Scoutmaster Lumpus to the kids with flies buzzing around them constantly, from bad food to activities that didn't work out quite the way they were supposed to. Most importantly, though, is that the boys/bean scouts learned to get along with each other, even if it was at the expense of Scoutmaster Lumpus. EVERY Scout or Scouter I've known knew a Scoutmaster Lumpus. This show makes me smile warmly, and I highly recommend it to adults and children alike.
Camp Lazlo® is one of my favorite shows. I may be too old for it, but who cares? It's just so I don't know, good I guess. I like that Lazlo is a monkey that is almost the best bean scout, how Slinkman is so quiet and good, and how Raj is from India. It's just a good kid show too. It is just a show for kids about a monkey at camp named Lazlo who has 2 friends named Clam and Raj who run around being good bean scouts! I guess maybe it's not just a kid show in a way. It just makes anyone watch it, from 1 to 100. It's for anyone. At least to me and my sister, who are loyal fans! It brings you in even if you think it's not funny. To me it shows camp, not the best camp but Lazlo makes the best of it! Thats why I give Camp Lazlo a 10 out of 10!
This show might not have been on hire for that long compared to some other stories but it was good. I love every second that I showed it. It was never boring. I love the cast of character there was. There character development and character designs were all good too. The animation was good. It was about the life of animal going to summer camp. I loved that idea and the director who made it did a good job on it. I wish there was more episodes if I am being honest.
I grew up watching this and I have to say it really brings back good memories. The show focuses on an optomistic monkey named Lazlo (Carlos Alazraqui) who gets sent to summer camp where he befriends a neurotic elephant named Raj (Jeff Bennett) and a mostly quiet rhino named Clam (Carlos Alazraqui). Together they have several adventures ranging from avoiding the up-tight scoutmaster named Lumpus (Tom Kenny), exploring outside the camp to running into the Bean Scouts and either competing against or working with them depending on the episode. The animation's nice to look at, the characters are interesting and well-developed and the gags are funny. One of my favorite gags is seeing one scout Edward (Jeff Bennett) get angry. In one episode there're literally explosions in his eyes not once but twice. I don't know why but I thought that was funny. Both kids and adults will like this show.

- TriviaThe show is based on Joe Murray's childhood experiences at summer camp (he said he attended summer camp every summer for "4 or 5 years in a row" and that he "couldn't really get the scouting thing down".)
- GoofsIn the main intro, it says that Lazlo, Clam, and Raj met and then went to camp. However, they show that Lazlo got to camp in a fruit truck instead of the bus, and met Raj and Clam at camp.
