Strawberry Shortcut

Another spoof on food commercials made by the late Tom Rubnitz, this one was quite fun to watch. It involves two drag queens friend of each other, with one of them completely unprepared to serve a dessert to her friend. That's when "Strawberry Shortcut" appears, a special misture of sweets all in one bowl, easy to be prepared but awfully strange to be consumed (cream, strawberry, a doughnut and 7-UP together). Unlike "Pickle Surprise" of which I got and felt nothing, this one had me laughing when it was over. I got something there in spite of its simplicity and craziness, its mockery of those food ads is spot on when they show everything looks simple and delicious when in fact there's a lot of trouble going to on to prepare it or the taste isn't all that great. Pretty good though I'd never attempt to create such dessert. 6/10.
