    Surprising, but truly influential

Mila From Mars gives us hope that the magnificence of our past cinema experience can be restored to life. The director proved that money is not that big of a factor when aiming at touching our hearts. I was flabbergasted when I found out that that Mila, the main character, was actually at the tender age of 16. A scary thing, however, is being able to realize that you know such people after having seen the collective image of the "bad, corrupted" man. And though shocking, it is also very romantic, and somewhat optimistic. It shows Mila growing from a confused teenager to that special condition she has captured all over the walls of her gift-room - "mother". In addition, we see her finding her soul in a relationship so beautiful and at the same time without the old cash-winning veneer. Truly speaking of our community, it also intrigues with the mysterious way the villagers get their bread and butter :)) (nevertheless, not everything should be revealed!). To put an end to it, you will not regret spending your money or time as you will get something extraordinary, different and memorable! Enjoy the movie and come on over for more Bulgarian cinema :)))

    Unusual, thought provoking Bulgarian film

This is a film which definitely makes an intelligent audience think. Beginning with its title, and on to its mysterious locations, characters and situations, this is a wonderful film addressing issues pertinent to all generations, and any culture. The script, the acting (particularly the village dwellers), and the art direction are especially outstanding and creative.

As a bonus, the movie provides an opportunity to view a seldom-seen national cinema (at least in the West), namely Bulgarian cinema. Besides the film itself which will leave you thinking for a long while, after watching this, you may wonder what other pearls like this one from Bulgaria remain unseen by other audiences, and why?

    A good Bulgarian movie

you wouldn't see a film like this one come from a Hollywood studio, but it is very much alike any other Bulgarian movie, made in the last 10-15 years. it tries to be moderately honest (while many other modern time Bulgarian movies overact in being too honest), tries to be humanly warm (while so many others are simply too cold and heartless), and tries to show an unexaggerated view of the life in Bulgaria (many recent movies are simply too filled with cruelness, violence and aimless, faceless people)

it succeeds in this for the most part. i am a Bulgarian and try to watch many Bulgarian films, so this one tells me nothing new, but i can certainly see an improvement in the movie making in Bulgaria:

although the fake symbolisms so common in Bulgarian cinema are still present, although actor lines are still mostly raw, there is a progress in the story telling, progress in the movie production

i give this movie a rating of 7.5, and hope that the next new Bulgarian movie i watch will deserve at least a 9

    peace

Mila from Mars a masterpiece supremely high class written and directing, should be watched also because it's their finest achievement ''im in'' cast and crew, and impressive imagination crossing refreshingly different the plot, and building 'home away from home'. Mila from Mars story line that makes us really care what happens put aside moral shackles and succeed escape of humanity mechanical manipulations in nature and Mila from Mars to become a legend. Heart and love is what the movie show the most. Mila from Mars ferocious brutality is presented without commentary or judgment, with unmistakable moral understanding and vision. Medieval history accents of the screenplay in Mila from Mars is anything else I can do for your magic. It has the stars, it's based on a classic exhilarating couple of hours. Mila from Mars! Comedy in sensibility and superb drama effect made level up fast and furious is presented without commentary or judgment, with unmistakable moral understanding and vision. It fills the entertainment utterly. The Expendable performance of Asen Blatechki smarter than average biopic experience of watching always very pleasant, recreating desire of men too well couple millions look at wild ride through a rock idol Asen Blatechki. Life is everything and the question is ''What Women Want''. The director, writer and producer Zornitza Sofia - intense, riveting, evocative, self important and impossible to copycat.

    a tekno film from Bulgaria

This is the story of Christ ,the alternative. The movie begins at forth month of the very pregnancy. We see the mother and the father in a car. They are quarreling. We see that the girl(mother)is upset and wants to get free.Somehow(it is shown how),she goes to a village where only 5-10 old men and women live. There is a lunatic away, too but nobody sees him and he disturbs nobody. All those old people welcome the girl, they name her Miche(in Bulgarian.momiche means girl,so the name miche, they find her house, they give her food, they even give her a radio.Time passes and at new year's Eve,Miche gives birth to a boy they name Christ. The time now is indicated as 'weeks-months after Christ.Miche goes to the lunatic and falls in love with him.we learn that the father has save his life...And happy end..The father lets Mila and the lunatic to live together free and happy! Miche-mila-mother...looks very different, very orphan, very angry, very dirty and very TEKNO.The music used is tekno and the pictures are parallel to the music and everything fits perfectly with the character of Mila. The film is not a masterpiece but it is different kind of work, certainly worth seeing.
