Balas e Bolinhos - O Regresso it's a movie that breaks all the rules in the Portuguese movie scene. It shows the real language of 85% of the people in the Portuguese country and they are not shame of that!

Balas e Bolinhos shows the DREAMS of some that wants money and a future but they try to get it in the wrong way... :) In Portugal we don't have only NICE PEOPLE WITH LOTS OF MONEY... We have LOTS OF POOR PEOPLE that want to be someone!!

The movie entertains us!! Recently i saw an other Portuguese movie: "Filme da Treta"... forget it... bring me again Balas e Bolinhos... Please!!!

This is the best comedy film Portuguese that I saw. I congratulate the authors, actors, producers and all the staff. Note that since the golden age of the Portuguese movies (the 50 and 60 decades), this was the first Portuguese movie that manage to completely sold out tickets in Portuguese movies. You must see this movie. It's a Portuguese movie made with a few EUROS and it's magnificent. It's a excellent comedy. O Regresso, is also clammed as a Cult movie among teenagers. A third movie would be very welcome and would assure Luis Ismael quality as an actor and director. A trilogy named "Balas&Bolinhos" would free Portugal movie scene from Manoel d'Oliveira Shadow.

This is really one of the best nonsense comedy movies i've already seen.

As you seat in front of the screen you start laughing like a maniac and you only stop when the film ends. This film is very refreshing because it is not just one more of those American made movies which people are fed up to watch to. This is a Portuguese movie! Yeah, for those of you that only know Manuel d'Oliveira movies and like it, don't watch this. You won't like it, it is a very hilarious and interesting movie for you to like it. If you wanna laugh till your pants are all wet, then this is the right movie!

Very nice movie that can change anyone's bad mood... you laugh all the time watching it. It has many bad words, but those words make the movie much more funnier! If I'm not mistaken it was one of the Portuguese movies with most spectators. The story is very simple... it's about a group of friends that meet after some years apart and decide to hunt a treasure. The four friends then have a lot of adventures and meet a lot of obstacles to finally reach their first objective which happens to be an illusion, because the treasure was not what they were expecting. It's a pity that the movie is not being translated to other foreign languages so every one can be able to enjoy all the fun about this Portuguese success although I believe that it's not a very easy translation because of the kind of word!

If the first movie of the series did a lot with very little this one is exactly the opposite. Although the budget was largely increased, all that was good in the first flick is lost. The story rambles and rambles, simply not going anywhere and humorless scenes last forever. These useless ploys don't advance the plot, don't develop the characters and in sum, do absolutely nothing worthy for the movie except add time to it. It is just tragic to see how the superbly flavored characters of the first movie are destroyed with cliché lines that simply are not funny. All in all, this is a very painful movie to watch and not worth the rental money, let alone a theater admission.
