    A beautiful journey

Somewhere In Indiana is a 'road' movie in the best since of the word. It is an emotional journey. A voyage of self-awareness. The acting is first class.

The lead characters; Adam (Jason Kistler), Jane (Janet Vuong), Sam (B.J. Whetstine), Dan (Wes Pollock) bring their problem and badge with them as the travel to a small town in Indiana to visit the hometown of their idol. Roy (Reg Land) was preface as the part of the mysterious stranger who help them face their internal problems.

The featured actors, lead by the talented Colin Alexander who play's Eddie Ray also did an outstanding job.

The cinematography drew me into the story and some of the music was remarkable. Somewhere In Indiana forced me to think about my own mortality and the reason humans go on pilgrimage. The movie is full of complex symbolism.

    Unique Indiana Film

I highly recommend seeing this film.

"Somewhere in Indiana" is a fun story with deep undertones and messages throughout.

The script takes you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions while taking on risqué themes head on.

This film is a low budget independent-type movie driven by a large cast and crew of Indiana Filmmakers. These people worked hard on making this film a reality.

    Have fun checking it out!

    Peace!

Don Boner pulls off another full-length feature film

I was Assistant Director on Don Boner's movie "Somewhere in Indiana" and given that I am right now trying to make my first full-length feature movie I have nothing but admiration for Don's doggedness in completing this project. I remember when he first came up with the concept for the story in Dec/03 and was out with Jason Kistler in my driveway Jan/04 trying to shovel the little bit of snow we had in order to get reel for the opening scenes. He persistently pushed the project forward for the next 10 months through all the trials and tribulations of small budget, independent film-making. If you are an aspiring producer, director, writer or actor this film should be watched with the keen eye of someone that understands how difficult the process can be and maybe you will pick up some "movie trickery" and inspiration or at the very least respect and admiration for a man diligently pursuing his dream.

    Nice Second Feature from Boner

I was excited to see what Don Boner had in-store for us with "Somewhere in Indiana." He has definitely stepped up his game! The is far superior in writing and directing than "Loser's Lounge". He gives us characters that we genuinely care about throughout the entire story. There were a few recognizable faces in the cast and a lot of new faces as well. Colin Alexander and Tiffany Bullock did a great job in their "flashback" scenes. Rural Indiana provided a great background for the action of the film. I went to a sold-out screening of this show back in December of 2004. If Boner continues to head in this direction, we should be seeing some great things from him.

Don Boner (Loser's Lounge) delivers second feature

Filmmaker Don Boner, writer and director of "Somewhere in Indiana" takes his characters on a journey of self discovery with the aid of a mysterious stranger. Follow Adam (Jason Kistler), Dan (Wes Pollock), Sam (B.J. Whetstine and Jane (Janet Vuong) as they travel to the Indiana birthplace of fictional actor Eddie Ray. Along the way, they meet the aforementioned mysterious stranger, Roy (Reg Land), who becomes the catalyst for all that transpires. Each character sees the truth of their life with Roy's help. Colin Alexander as Eddie Ray is seen in "filmclips" spaced throughout the movie. Solid acting from all the principles with stand-out performances from Janet Vuong and Reg Land. All in all a fun story set in a rural backdrop found "Somewhere in Indiana".
