Toy leaks are typically pretty good for spoilers, and it seems Avengers: Doomsday will be no exception. A list of Marvel Legends figures due for release in 2026 has found its way online, and it seemingly reveals the movie's main characters. 

For context, the first wave of toys for a movie like this is typically spoiler-free. However, they also usually focus on a movie's leads, as those are the ones who typically sell to the masses. It's only later that we see the more obscure or secret heroes and villains take centre stage. 

Who will that be for Avengers: Doomsday? Well, the New Avengers aren't getting much love. The Fantastic Four are highlighted, along with two X-Men: Cyclops and Gambit.

In terms of Avengers, we have Captain America, Thor, and Shang-Chi. Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will, of course, get his own figure, and we're intrigued by the inclusion of H.

A new promo for The Fantastic Four: First Steps puts the spotlight on H.E.R.B.I.E., the most adorable member of Marvel's First Family and a guaranteed merchandise seller for Disney.

We get to hear one of Mister Fantastic's most iconic creations "speak" in a video meant to advertise the robot's capabilities (it's been reported that other versions of H.E.R.B.I.E. are available for people to buy in this reality). There are also some exciting new snippets of footage from the movie.

Those include the robot attempting to protect young Franklin Richards when Galactus arrives on Earth and a heavily pregnant Sue Storm. Like his comic book counterpart, it seems H.E.R.B.I.E. will serve as Franklin's babysitter.

Whether he'll make the trip to Earth-616 with the rest of the team remains to be seen, though the Russo Brothers...

It is just a little over a month until the Fantastic Fourofficially return to theaters, as First Steps is set to change the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Marvel’s slate of related comics continues with a solo adventure starring H.E.R.B.I.E., the team’s robot sidekick, who will make his live-action debut in the film.

In an interview with Marvel, author Nathan Stockman discussed working on H.E.R.B.I.E: Infinity Comic #1, an online exclusive which he wrote and illustrated, as well as providing the covers for.

According to Stockman, the joy of working on the H.E.R.B.I.E. comic, ahead of his MCU arrival, is “carving a little corner” of the Marvel Universe “for H.E.R.B.I.E. to fit into.” Already a beloved fixture of Fantastic Four lore, this comic, plus his movie role, could be what firmly elevates the robotic character to fan-favorite status.

H.E.R.B.I.E. is one of the most unexpected additions to The Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, where better to introduce the fan-favourite character than in a retro-futuristic 1960s New York?

A new "Silence Your Cell Phones" PSA is currently playing in theaters, and it sees the loveable robot briefly warn audiences, "You know better." However, that's subtitled, and his speaking voice is a series of computer noises; is this indicative of what we'll see in the movie itself?

If so, this promises to be a very unique voiceover role for General Grievous actor Matthew Wood.

The loveable "Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-Type, Integrated Electronics" has become a mainstay in comics and animation, occasionally serving as a key ally in battle or, more often, Franklin Richards' babysitter.

Talking to Empire Magazine, filmmaker Matt Shakman said, "He's a Reed Richards creation. He's the highest-evolution robot of our era. He is really Reed's right hand in the lab, capable of assisting him on any sort of experiment, always by his side, whether in New York City or out in space."

Per Entertainment Weekly, Katt's death was confirmed by his attorney, John Sloss. However, no circumstances related to the cause were divulged. He was 54 years old.

A former child star born in 1970, Katt had started his career in show business early. In the early 80s, he was appearing in popular TV shows like Fantasy Island, CHiPs, Father Murphy, Herbie, the Love Bug, Trapper John, M.D., and V, among others. In 1984, he landed one of his first movie roles as a schoolchild shown in the beloved horror-comedy movie Gremlins. He'd follow this up wiht a role in Tom Hanks' The 'Burbs in 1989, soon after picking up roles in Martians Go Home, and Sister Act.

Born in South Dakota on May 11, 1970, Katt began as a child actor, appearing on episodes of such TV shows as CHiPs, Father Murphy, Code Red, Herbie, the Love Bug, Voyagers! and Quincy, M.E.

He landed one of his most notable roles in Dazed and Confused (1993), where he played Clint Bruno. The coming-of-age film follows a group of rowdy teenagers in Austin celebrating the last day of high school in 1976.
