Decoys 2: Alien Seduction

Luke (Corey Sevier) survived from the alien attack, which his previous girlfriend was a alien the whole time. Now Luke is hoping to get his life back in track, while he sees a psychiatrist (Dina Meyer) for the moment and as well trying to finish his college education. Now a group of horny college students (Tyler Johnston, Reamonn Joshee, Ryan Ash, Brad Goddard and Sam Easton) are setting a game between of rating female college students, seeing which student is hot and which one of the five guys will get laid first as well. Now two new college female students are living in the campus, which these two attractive ladies (Michelle Molineux, Lindsay Maxwell) are Aliens. Which they are here in earth to seduced humans from extinction. When Luke has a feeling that not everything in safe in the campus and he sees one of the aliens he remembers from his past. Her name is Constance (Kim Poirier) and she's pretending to be a doctor. While her two female aliens are trying to save their species from seducing every student or adult in sight. Now Luke and these horny colleagues have a chance to stop this race before they take over the world.

Directed by Jeffery Scott Lando (Savage Island) made an lively sequel to the silly Original. Which the original was a fun knock-off to "Species" and since then, it has an cult following. Sevier and Poirier are back from the original. The new cast members in the sequel are fun to watch including Kaillin See as Stephanie (Who resembles of the actress "Rosemund Pike") and Tobin Bell from the "Saw Series" as a college professor.

DVD has an good anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1) transfer and an clear sounding Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD's only extras are previews from other movies. Special effects seems to be improvement over the original but the original film was more kinkier and sadly (Beautiful and Sexy) Poirier keeps her clothes on this time. There's a few gratuitous nudity in this but not as much. Still, this goofy Canadian B Movie is certainly fun to watch and there's a set-up for a possible third movie at the end. It's a pleasant dumb B Movie with the cast & crew members certainly had a lot of fun making this picture. Also it is better than the "Species" Sequels any day. (*** ½/*****).

To be quite honest, I don't remember a whole lot from the first "Decoys" except that it was a spirited and unpretentious little B-movie with a lot of sexy girls and silly situations. It had something to do with the members of a dying alien race transforming themselves into hot & voluptuous blond chicks, to mate with and kill the hormone-overloaded boys at a Canadian college. The 2004 original was a complete rip-off of "Species", but hey, at least it was good and straightforward brainless horror/Sci-Fi fun! The sequel delivers the exact same goods. During the ridiculously cold (-9° Fahrenheit!!) winter in Canada, a handful of blond bimbo aliens led by the ravishing Constance Snowden settle in another sleepy college town. The male populous here is so pathetic and horny that they launched a contest to see who can hook up with the highest number of girls before the end of the semester. The presence of sexy illegal aliens who are desperate to mate makes the contest a lot easier, only the men don't return to the dorm alive. Luke Callahan, the sole survivor of the first alien encounter, followed the blonds to their new playground but obviously nobody believes his crazy stories. Like the first film, this sequel isn't much of a masterpiece. It's a forgettable and derivative Sci-Fi comedy, but the performances are likable and the special effects are adorably cheesy. A nice diversion, nothing more and nothing less.

In the cold winter in the Strathorn University, a group of college students dispute a competition to see who can score more girls along the period. The Decoys change their strategy, seducing the teenagers but forcing them to extend the fore-plays for a longer time to survive their lower temperature and support their eggs, and hiding the bodies of their occasional victims. Meanwhile, Luke Callahan (Corey Sevier), who survived to Constance Snowden (Kim Poirier) in St. John College, is having psychiatric assistance of Dr. Alana Geisner (Dina Meyer), and researches the women with many tentacles on her breast but is not able to convince Dr. Geisner that the girls are aliens trying to breed. When many students are missing in the campus, Luke believes that the Decoys are back, and finds that the student Sam Compton (Tyler Johnston) is the only person that believes on his words.

"Decoys 2: Alien Seduction" is a good sequel of "Decoys", with a kind of teen-version of "Species". The story has flaws, but I like B-movies and "Decoys 2" has never disappointed me. On the contrary, this pleasant and entertaining film is underrated in IMDb. There are beautiful and sexy actresses, funny moments and good special effects, and I recommend this movie for fans of the genre, but I suggest the viewer to see first "Decoys" to understand this good sequel. My vote is seven.

Were part 1 was a let down due the CGI they have tried to use some real effects. Again, the movie starts were the other one ended. There are in the first minutes some flashbacks of part 1 so you can pick this one easily up without watching part 1. There are some teaser actors in it like Dina Meyer from the first 3 Saws and of course Tobin Bell. Dina surely looks sexy but Tobin was a bit disappointing. The way he acts in Saw is great but here he's trying to act and talk the same and I have seen him doing that in other flicks too. Again, the decoys really are looking sexy and some are showing their tits but still it is one for the teenagers. Better than part 1 but it can't compete with Species.

This movie is what i call a good light heart movie that serve its purpose well. It takes elements from the college boys movies, other elements from suspense, and a little part of the horror gender(even tough it ain't gore or scary at all). The story has flaws and its far from perfect, but for what it aim for it serve its purpose well.

Much like the other reviewers i think if you watch this movie knowing exactly what it is(and liking that) you will have a good time. Even better with beers and a couple friends. Of course this movie is aimed at teens to young guys audience. This is one of those "watch a movie on Saturday night with a couple buddies, pizzas and beers" type.

The female cast is great looking, the acting is decent enough, the story funny, overall its cool.
