This was made in 2004 for gods sake, what happened to our state of the art special effects? What happened to our rough around the edges but still good actors? The actors in this movie were unbelievably horrible, there was one or two that weren't bad, but the rest, biggg thumbs down. Couldn't stand listening to the badly written dialogue, I mean, who the heck wrote that script? Please don't ever write again! Special effects? Don't even get me started on the special effects. SURELY they could have come up with better then fully fake looking green balls of light in the eye sockets. It looks so old and..lame frankly.! Even the easiest thing to make look real..the teeth, THEY looked so fake and stupid I would almost wipe a tear from my eye in annoyance. Come onnnn I cant believe this was even shown to the public.!

I may be one of the few people out there who LOVE this movie. Granted the production values leave a LOT to be desired. The story is kind of all over the place
Chrstine herself starts out as a honestly strong character concept in that shes not your typical blonde "bimbo" at the start and honestly wants to persue her studies and seems smart and has a good heart. And ironically not there to party... but then of course along comes Devin Sinclair and that all changes......... to be honest in the end Chrstine actually ends up becoming the steriotype but .........to me the star is Devin
the acting may not have been perfect but i think to me the movie sets up a pretty interesting character that could be fleshed out more in...other media.
Sometimes thats what makes such movies great. Low budget b-movies that maybe are pretty lacking in a lot of areas but for me Devin gave me some real inspiration .
Plus while it does have softcore scenes.
I actually like the fact it does not show off too much skin. And i found those scenes really "fun" to be honest.
Im giving this 10 stars not so much of the quality of the film itself but for me i just really got a lot out of it and it inspired me.
Maybe dont be so critical and give it a second look
btw i am NOT associated with the creators in any ways (though i honestly wish i would i would love to pitch a series sequel of sorts focusing on Deins return)
but dont completely knock is what id say
to me its a rough messy hidden gem
but its ironically one of my favorite movies.
So give it a chance ;-)

I was really surprised to find out it was made in 2004, because the quality looked so bad. I honestly thought it came from the early 90s. Including some of the effects.
Boring sensory overload might seem contradicting, however this managed it with so many strobes, and terrible music. The strobes were even during the day, like what!?? Then there is no plot, terrible lines, and a lot of scenes in dire need of editing because they add nothing to the film.
The dialogue is awkward. And the plot lacked so much, and there were so much filler, that getting this review up to the word count is actually quite difficult.

The Sisterhood" was lame, stupid, sleazy....in a PG-13 kind of way, and poorly acted by most (not all) of the supporting cast....I will give Barbara Crampton a big break here! What do expect from director David DeCoteau?? Like Schlock and shock King William Castle of the 1950's and 60's, David has managed to become the King of today's B grade horror films. There is an "art" to making terribly bad movies that are actually fun, interesting, and entertaining. David always manages to capture this on film. On a positive note, I really liked Joe Silva's tech-no dance beat score, especially during the hot erotic opening sequence and ending credit roll. I compare his movies to that of a train wreck......so horrible, yet it is hard to take your eyes off it!! 5 out 10
Pretty.
Pretty actresses and actors. Pretty bad script. Pretty frequent "let's strip to our undies" scenes. Pretty fair F/X. Pretty jarring location decisions (the college dorm room looks like a high-end hotel room - probably because it was shot at a hotel). Pretty bland storyline. Pretty awful dialog. Pretty locations. Pretty annoying editing, unless you like the music video flash-cut style.
This one isn't a guilty pleasure - this is more an embarrassing one. If you must watch this, pick a good dance/techno album and turn the sound off on the movie - you'll see the pretty people in their pretty black undies, and probably follow the story just fine.
The cast may be able to act - I doubt that anyone could look skilled given the lines/plot that they had to deal with.
