    Very funny. Very irish

I saw this film as a part of the Shorts section of the Belfast Film Festival 2004. It was one of the best there.

'Crashing The Wake' is very funny but has a heart too. I really got into the characters. My only complaint was that it wasn't longer. The set up was good enough for a feature film.

It has a very Irish feel too. The humour is very subtle and doesn't rely on punchlines. A very good picture of an Irish wake. I regognise a lot of the charcters as people I know, they are that well written.

I heard the guys behind it on BBC Radio Ulster when they were filming it (sometime towards the end of last year, 2003). They seems really cool.

Try to see it if you can.
