An excellent documentary that if at first it seems that it is going to be a testimony of their hardships, that is only the beginning; then it is also a critique of the two opposing governments, although not falling into populism. Actually the protagonists of the documentary are those citizens and the fight for their freedom (not only in prison), since the freedom to live where you want, in your city, in your country, etc. Also part of this is the journalist who makes the documentary, who empathizes more and more with the characters. What I liked the least is that despite the fact that many of them imply that they want reunification, it seems to me that there is still a political fanaticism (yes, fanaticism without violence) and ideological, which is much more noticeable in the end , when they arrive in North Korea. Pathetic performances by both South Korean (turning a deaf ear to everything), and North Korea (the video publicist of the children of the sun is shameful). Incredible how in a supposed "democratic" country, it has allowed political prisoners to have spent up to 40 years in jail. Great documentary.
