Financial expert Suze Orman is developing a daily show called Suze Orman’s Money Wars for Warner Bros. Telepictures, it was announced Tuesday. Orman’s long-running CNBC program, The Suze Orman Show, will end in March 2015, the business-news network confirmed Tuesday. It will conclude as the longest-running show in CNBC history. "Hasn't Rachael Ray already won several Daytime Emmys?" you might be thinking. He switched page positions with the page who works on "The Suze Orman Show."

Suze Orman, appearing as herself, wasn't too impressed with Kenneth when he laid out his diabolical plan to get his coworkers to miss him. So she gave him some of that tough love she's known for, as well as some sound financial advice. While she couldn't get out of him how old he is -- "Don't worry about it," he responded to that question -- she did learn that he pays 110% of his earnings to his church in tithes, and that he doesn't even know how much he makes.

Another Thursday means another all-new 30 Rock, and today, my fellow PopWatchers, you become men. Or something like that. In “Today You Are a Man” Liz Lemon’s incompetent agent, Simon, returned to tell her that her contract was about to expire. Jack had sent a new one for her to sign, but Lemon decided it was time to negotiate with the big boys. With help from Jack Donaghy’s own self-help tapes, Liz set out to get that 5 percent merchandising she deserves. What could possibly go wrong?

Suze Orman, CNBC’s infamous financial host, had to undergo an emergency appendectomy on June 5, which was also her 59th birthday, People is reporting. The host of ‘The Suze Orman Show’ on NBC’s sister cable news network is expected to recovery completely. It’s also been reported that he surgery was performed at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. However, the hospital has not confirmed the information, and has only said that Orman’s name doesn’t appear on a patient database. Orman’s rep, Kristin Bouton, told the Chicago Sun-Times that her client was discharged three days after gettign her appendix remved, and plans to spend several days resting in a hotel there. We've only seen Gabourey Sidibe in one movie -- which was anything but funny. So we were definitely curious as to how the Oscar-nominated actress would fare in her comedic debut on "Saturday Night Live."

Sidibe's monologue played off the fact that people think she's actually like the depressing character she plays in "Precious." She explains how her real-life upbringing was quite the contrary to her fictional role: "I grew up with dreams of getting a degree in psychology, which i don't have to do anymore because I'm famous!" Sidibe breaks into song about her oh-so-wonderful life, belting out lines like, "I'm not feeling blue, I've been on 'The View.'" The jokes in her "I'm Gabourey" tune never really quite work (see above) -- but her energy is contagious. According to a new study by TV By the Numbers, "upscale viewers" (meaning viewers in the 18-49 demographic who pull down $100,000 a year) prefer watching Glee to any other show on television. In addition to perky, singing-and-dancing high school students, the well-to-do demographic enjoys winding down with NBC sitcoms 30 Rock, The Office and Community. Twentieth Television has pushed the launch of its new syndicated talker The Suze Orman Show back a year until fall 2006, citing a lack of good time periods. "While momentum for the strip has been building, fewer available attractive time periods in fall 2005 and the current economics of launching a daytime strip constrain the manner in which we wish to bring this very important program to viewers," the distributor said in a statement. "In our view, there is much greater potential for 'Suze Orman' in fall 2006 or possibly earlier." Meanwhile, KNBC-TV in Los Angeles recently confirmed that it was releasing King World's talker Dr. Phil to KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV to make way for Suze Orman. It's unclear what the station will air in that slot in the fall; a spokesperson could not be reached by press time.

Dr. Phil is moving his practice in Los Angeles sooner than expected. The top-rated talk show is switching from KNBC-TV to KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV in the No. 2 market in the fall -- a year earlier than originally scheduled. King World Prods., which distributes the syndicated talk show, said in November that the Paramount Domestic Television-produced strip would be moving from KNBC to Viacom's L.A. duopoly starting in fall 2006 as part of a new pact running through the 2008-09 season. But KNBC confirmed that it cleared Twentieth Television's new talker The Suze Orman Show for fall 2005 and plans to air the strip in Dr. Phil's 4 p.m. slot. Don Corsini, president and general manager of KCBS and KCAL, said Dr. Phil's time periods will be announced this year.

Twentieth Television has landed a handful of major-market station clearances for its upcoming syndicated talk show hosted by Suze Orman, sources said. Twentieth declined comment on the matter late Tuesday, but sources said The Suze Orman Show has found takers in the crucial top markets of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. A spokesman for WCBS-TV New York confirmed that CBS' flagship O&O has picked up the first-run strip for a fall launch, though no decision has been made on a time period for the show. Twentieth declined comment on any clearances for the strip. Sources said that NBC O&Os KNBC-TV Los Angeles and WMAQ-TV Chicago have picked up Suze Orman, as well. Calls to both stations were not returned by press time Tuesday. The one-hour show features Orman, who also hosts her own show on CNBC, helping people deal with financial problems that affect their relationships, such as a couple on the verge of splitting up because of a spending addiction and a daughter confronting her mother for stealing her credit cards and putting her into debt.
