Warner Bros. Animation produced the first season in the United States through traditional hand-drawn animation. The voice cast came from Canada, with the exception of James Arnold Taylor voicing the main character. After production of season 1 ended, The WB, the channel on which the show initially aired, merged with UPN to create The CW, which resulted in budget cuts. Most of the crew was laid off and production resumed in Canada, with Cookie Jar Entertainment (later DHX Media) switching to Flash Animation from season 2 onward. Only the show's creator, Scott Fellows, and the voice cast from the first season continued to work on the series.

This show is something

This is like plenty of cheap shows from the 2000s and 2010s, "Teen Titans Go, Powerpuff Girls," something to entertain kids, but can become boring and infuriating, but unlike those shows, this holds up very well. There is plenty of stuff in it that's easy to hate, but there's a charm within that's so great, it just overpowers everything.
