Unlike the previous reviewer, I actually watched the movie. As a matter of fact, when it started I thought I would get some things done around the house and watch it in the background but it totally got me. I had to sit and watch. The interplay between the couple and their friends was perfect. I have known people like these, playing a game instead of following their hearts in their relationships. The advice they get just pulls them farther from what they really want and creates way more conflict than ever. The chemistry between Bill and Vivica is hot when they aren't "playing the game". This is a fun, lighthearted film that is great for those times when you need a pick me up and want some sweet, old fashioned, relationship entertainment.
Any movie with Vivaca Fox in it is doomed!! She CAN'T act!! This steaming hot pile of a mess, pretending to be a movie is no exception!! Who greenlighted this horrible script and cast
Stevie Wonder?!
Actors: Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, Stacey Dash.
Welcome to the new players club where everyone's in on the game! Vivica A. Fox, Carmen Electra, and Stacy Dash star as three smart and sexy friends fed up with being played by the men in their lives. To prove that all men are predictable and easily seduced, this hot trio decides to play by a new set of rules. They enter into a wild contest of seduction to convince one lucky man that he's living a dream... but what the girls don't realize is that their mark is in onto their game and he's got a few plays of his own.
The three ladies were very good with solid performances all around. The story is a bit unbelievable but the director makes it all work. As to exactly what you will see, I'm not going to give that away but this is an entertaining movie with a few surprises. Surprise Vivica takes most of it off and so does Carmen but I really liked the character played by Stacey. Too aggressive can be misinterpreted in a woman and the "B" word often slips out. Obviously this is a love story where true love wins out overall but I'm not happy with the sterotype that all hetero males are ready to jump any attractive woman that comes along but bellamy does a good job playing and getting played to his own harm and near loss of a good thing in Ms Dash. Also cameos by comedians "Earthquake" and Tachina Arnold from the old "Martin" sitcom "Martin Lawrence" were very funny.

While there are other movies that represent these actors in a better light I did get a few laughs viewing this movie. My adult children watched with me and they could name a few ladies who fit the bill of the three characters---and that's too bad. The sound track was enjoyable, the costumes (clothes) were realistic and the comic was funny. The friend Josh is entertaining. But,there certainly will not be even a little rush to the DVD rentals by many to get this movie. The movie obviously was an attempt by the director to rush through a project--let's hope he is not remembered for this one. And, let's hope the actors/actresses did not count on this one to be the big one for their careers.
This happened to be playing on T.V. late late night one sleepless evening so I though I 'd give it a try. I got through the first 30-45 minutes...and they weren't easy! This was one of the worst wastes of space I've ever seen...
First of all: Bill Bellamy, kind of funny comedian, ATROCIOUS actor!!! Plot - highly implausible, acting - absolutely abysmal, camera/cinematography - just one big driving tour of Loa Angeles.
Are you really that hard up, Vivica? I mean, really?!?! This was just truly an incredibly stupid movie on every level. My best advice: stay away from any movie with Bill Bellamy - point blank.

- GoofsWhen Andrea is setting up the camera, she moves a picture to the right to reveal a camera, in which she sets to record. As she leaves the room in the next scene, without her moving it, the picture is conveniently placed in-front of the camera to conceal it while Mark goes to play music.
