First of all, I'd just like to say that I'm really offended at the comment by the previous user. 'i guess it's hard to expect Korea to keep putting out quality movie.' If you're going to write a review, at least use proper grammar and capitalise your i's. What do you mean it's hard for Korea to keep putting out quality movies? That's a very racist comment and it shouldn't be posted here.
Onto the real review...this was a really disappointing movie. I had high expectations for it since it sounded liked a cool movie, but after I watched it, I felt like I wasted my time. The storyline is very bland, and it was probably just riding on the popularity of Kim Jae-Won and Ha Ji-Won at the time. The story jumps from one scene to the next, and before you realise it, BAM! The two lead characters are in love...(now, isn't that a surprise?) The worst part of it was the ending - it was lame and totally expected. You'll find yourself rolling your eyes by the end...the movie's full of clichés, and it's a waste of an hour.

I guess it's a tribute that everyone brings up "My Sassy Girl" as a sort of standard for this particular genre. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a go.
As for 100 Days with Mr Arrogant it's a fair way to waste some time. Funny thing is the movie was better when they focused on the lowbrow, physical comedy at the start. The romantic resolution was a little forced and predictable--more formulaic than original. Originality is hard to come by nowadays anywhere, so I at least hope for good execution and nice production. The leads do look nice and the comedy and production were the strong points to me. Just a little diversionalong the way and no way near as magic as "My Sassy Girl"

I like the movie.. it was like sassy girl but i liked this movie especially the ending . It was funny as well as romantic... The acting was also good according to me. Ha ji won was funny playing as a silly girl. Kim jaewon was awesome playing a boy who is rich spoiled brat with good heart. This movie brings a smile but sometimes some funny moments will make your eyebrows raised . If you expect something funny in a south korean movie , that is it. I m not from south korean so I expect good as well as something funny and it was it. But if we compare this movie with others , I have to say the sassy girl is more surprising and funny.A NICE WATCH..!!
Unfortunately it seemed that director Dong-Yeob Shin just plotted in the data of 'how-to-make-a-romantic-comedy' and a very generic plot was printed. The entire movie seemed to be on autopilot and following the generic guide of how to make a romantic comedy step by step.
That being said, I am not saying that "100 Days With Mr. Arrogant" (aka "Nae-sa-rang ssa-ga-ji") is a bad or poor movie. Not at all. What I am saying is that it is unfathomably generic and offers absolutely nothing new to the genre at all. And if you have seen any other South Korean romantic comedy, then you know exactly what you will get here.
I will say that it is always nice to see Ji-Won Ha in a movie, as she is a diverse actress and quite talented. Together with Jae-Won Kim she carried the movie quite well.
As for the story, well, it is your typical hate turns to love romantic comedy, so I don't think it needs any elaboration.
"100 Days With Mr. Arrogant" is not the best that the genre has to offer, but it is still worth sitting down and watching a single time.

After her boyfriend breaks up with her on their 100th day anniversary "Kang Ha-yeong" (Ji-Wan Ha) is dejectedly walking home and upon seeing a can in the road decides to kick it to relieve some of her frustrations. Upon doing so, however, the can strikes a motorist driving a Lexus 430 which causes some minor damage to the bumper. Although the driver, "Lee Hyeong-jun" (Jae-won Kim) initially appears to be quite upset, in reality he isn't too concerned but having observed the attitude displayed by Ms. Kang he decides to have some fun at her expense. So he exaggerates the cost of the damage by inflating a $10 repair cost to $3000 just to see her reaction. Sure enough, she falls for the joke and runs off to avoid paying. Unfortunately, it's at this time that she accidentally drops her high school student ID card which then emboldens Lee Hyeong-jun to elevate the practical joke even further by tracking her down and demanding that she works for him as his personal slave for 100 days. Being totally naïve and fearing any repercussions from the law, she reluctantly agrees-and that's when the fun really begins. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this was a cute romantic-comedy which had an entertaining plot and featured some good humor for much of the duration. Admittedly, some of the humor was a bit low-brow and the last third of the film wasn't nearly as good or fast-paced. But even so, I enjoyed this film for the most part and have rated it accordingly. Slightly above average.
