The best video album, of all time

I strongly suggest any fan and non fan to pick up this dvd. Cky is a great band, and this film shows it. Containing all the videos for there latest album, INFILTRATE DESTROY REBUILD, plus videos for 96 Quite Bitter Beings and Disengage the Simulator, plus behind the scenes features for every video.

Also, the delux addition contains the bonus dvd, Chopped And Sliced, 3hrs of live and random footage of the band performing in the last couple of years. This is a must. 10 out of 10.

Loved the DVD. The music videos were done well. I really enjoyed the chopped and sliced footage to. Everyone needs to watch this DVD. CKY always gives 110% back to the fans. They always rock with a good live show. Force Change Now.

    fuCKYessss!

This DVD is truly one of the best DVD's i have bought for a while, 10 videos from CKY'S IDR album plus 2 otheres from volume one Disengage the simulator and 96 Quite bitter beings. Full commentary for every video on the DVD plus making of each video. What other band has a DVD where they create a video for every song and the answer is that there are not many bands, i truly recommend this DVD to every CKY fan and even well anyone who is anyone should check out this.

10/10 - great buy for the price - Great Videos - Commentary on every video - Making of every single video on there!! - BUY IT NOW AND ALSO BUY IDR

A DVD worthy of paying tribute to such a brilliant album.

If you are a fan of CKY (the band) then you MUST check out this DVD. WHile it dosen't have a lot in the way of special features (two bonus videos, commentary by the band, & making-of featurettes), it does manage to satisfy both the hardcore and casual fan.

Let me break it down by Video:

Escape from Hellview- This vid takes a lot of influence from 80's slasher flicks. Complete with camp horror, really fake gore, and a ridiculous number of panty shots, this is one of the better videos on the DVD. (4/5)

Flesh Into Gear- Not much has changed since the version they did for CKY3. The backgrounds have different colors now instead of the white wall they used. Some new jackass clips as well. This is basically a performance vid that features the CKy crew doing stunts and acting like the fools they are. Its okay, but the CKY3 version looks far superior to the new one. (2/5)

Sink Into the Underground- This one features the band on top of a roof playing at sunset. The plot features the struggles of a couple as their relationship slowly falls apart due to drug use. This is truly one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. It has the feel of a true film in three minutes. Everying about this video is tweaked perfectly, the best on the DVD. (5/5)

Attached at the Hip- Another performance video featuring the band playing in the ruins of an abandoned building, and in Bam's basement. Not much to say here really, just a good video all around. (4/5)

Frenetic Amnesic- This video was somewhat of a dissapointment for me. It starts looking to be serious and have a lot of potential to match the song's angst-filled tone. The inclusion of an outake clip in the middle of it though kinda screws up the atmosphere of it. But, if you dont care about this type of thing, then you will probably like this video, (the rest of it is very good.) (3.5/5)

Shock & Terror- The most outlandish of the videos, this one features a porno-star (Misty Mundae) being plagued by what she thinks to be a killer. For some reason, she starts cutting herself and getting aroused by it. The video intercuts with the band playing in a haunted mansion. Although this video sounds strange in writing, it is edited and shot very well. Excellent video. (5/5)

Plastic Plan- In this one, according to the band, they wanted a "retro" feel for it. It is basically a performance video with flashing lights and strange patterns green-screened into the background. (3/5)

Inhuman Creation Station- Another outlandish video. This time, however, the band is not featured at all. In fact, it is all done in stop motion animation with little clay features. The video shows a 1984-esque factory where humans are created. One by one the system starts to fail. Superb animation and an interesting premise. (4.5/5)

Sporadic Movement- Yet another performance video. Dont worry though, this video is so fast-paced and cool to watch, it rarely gets boring. The vid itself features the band playing inside a truck going at what looks like 70 mph. This one has to be seen to be believed. (5/5)

Close Yet Far- What DVD would be complete without the infamous "tour" video? This video is pretty average compared to the others. Not much to say in the way of a premise, just that it shows a bunch of footage from the O.O.T.N.A. (Out On the Noose Again) and B.O.O.T.N.A. (Back Out on the Noose Again) tours. Average video. (3.5/5)

96 Quite Bitter Beings- Exactly the same as the version on CKY2K. Except the color has been GREATLY improved. The video is basically Bam Margera getting chased by an angry Ryan Dunn with cameos by the CKY crew and cuts showing th band playing in a warehouse of some kind. This was the first video by CKY that ever saw the light of day, and the quality of the film lacks behind the rest of the DVD. Still, it is still rather enjoyable. (4/5)

Disengage the Simulator- Don't expect much out of this one. This video was spliced together from a bunch of extra clips they had,and the band performing in front of a giant "CKY" logo. I will cut the band some slack based on the commentary, and how they did have a cool idea for this vid but in just didn't work out. However, it is still the worst one on the DVD. (2.5/5)

Overall, this a good DVD with a little something for all kinds of CKY fans. (8.5/10)

    • Trivia
During the filming of the "Escape from Hellview" video, Chad Ginsburg almost hung himself while on a noose playing guitar to the playback system when he tried to flip his guitar. The crew and fellow band members thought he was acting, but when he started to spasm they brought him down.

Joseph Franz: [about Deron Miller choking Jenn Rivell in the Escape from Hellview video] Ok so he runs up and just grabs her by the neck, and all of his passion and love for horror movies and hours and hours and weeks and months he spent watching horror movies, it all came out... around Jenn's neck!

Deron Miller: If it had gone on just a little longer, I don't think jenn would be with us anymore and I'd probably be in jail.
