I was lucky enough to see this movie last night at the International Hispanic Film Festival in Palm Desert.
I absolutely loved it.
I found it to be very engaging and upbeat. No matter what stereotype of people they were showing(Mexican, southern, gay, etc) it was always in a positive light.
I couldn't take my eyes off the screen and found myself very engaged with each character. Well written, and very well told story.
I hope to see it in theaters soon nationally and I want to know when the Jesus the Driver video game comes out too.

A clever, heart felt, slightly quirky great little film, that was a real pleasure, indeed a privilege to get to see. This film is living proof that a wonderfully conceived film project can actually be put together by real people working together for a common artistic goal that in the end they can all be proud to put in their portfolios!
Interesting storyline, heartfelt bent (cultural perspective, etc.) on an old tale of love, loss, idiots, and saviors. Lots of humor, pathos, wonderful splashes of animation, great soundtrack, can't wait to see it again!!
p.s. The "Calexico" song is a most excellent choice, thanks.
Again thanks, and keep at it to all involved please.
