Submitted to the British Board of Film Censors by Worldwide Pictures Ltd. and passed with a "U" certificate on 11 May 1959. The BBFC records reveal that the print submitted had a length of 1429 feet (35 mm) and a running time of 15 mins 51 secs. New Realm Entertainments sent the 35 mm version to cinemas and an optically reduced 16mm print went to schools.
