I just recently rewatched this as an adult. Apparently I've always been a horror junkie. I had no idea that this was directed by Stuart Gordon but you can definitely tell as an adult. I had so much fun watching it even though it's ridiculously cheesy. Even as a child I thought it was strange there was an adult playing a kid, but it kind of adds to the charm.
Even though it's a little outdated, if you have a spooky kid, it will definitely grab their attention. I even remember being creeped out by the ending. It's available on YouTube as of writing this but I still remember the VHS tape. This would actually be a cool idea for the next VHS horror movie.
