    3D of a bygone era

This is Will Cowan's third 3D short (after NAT 'KING' COLE WITH RUSS MORGAN'S ORCHESTRA and HAWAIIAN NIGHTS), and is the runt of the litter.

Basically it's a nightclub show, and yes, rather boring by today's standards (shot July 1953).

It could be edited to half the length.

However, it has finally been seen by a modern audience at the WORLD 3-D FILM EXPO 2 (11 SEP 06 – and may not have been originally seen in 3D) and was applauded by the 3D fans, though obviously not with overwhelming enthusiasm.

The 3D cinematography (Irving Glassberg) was 100% up to Universal's high standard, and the print (brand new for the EXPO) was excellent.

Just a filler, as all shorts were, but a solid example of high quality stereoscopic motion pictures.
