Pirates of the Caribbean

I loved Pirates of The Caribbean, Johnny played an excellent part and deserved way more awards then he got. Considering Keira Knightly was only 17 she did an excellent job I thought her part was brilliant. Orlando Bloom was great, i think that Johnny and Orlando make a good team together. I can't wait for number 2 to come out hopefully it is even better than the first one. The special effects were also really good, I think Geoffrey Rush is a great "bad guy".I can watch it over again and never get bored. I thought it was very funny and entertaining I rate it 10/10 and recommend it to anyone who has a sense of humor and loves pirates and looking at Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.

This is actually my favorite movie. Although some scenes seemed a little fake, such as when Pintel and Ragetti go to kidnap Elizabeth and the butler opens the door and gets shot. I really don't think he'd fall down with his body completely stiff...but anyhee...I have watched this movie over and over again and haven't gotten sick of yet! I can't wait for "POTC 2." Anyone know the complete title of the second movie (EX: The first was called "Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl")? Well TTFN. Enjoy the movie! If you haven't seen it yet, that's a MUST!

it was Undoubtedly one of the greatest Disney films it was Undoubtedly one of the best films of 2003 (& came third in a recent televised film review of the best films of 2003)

it was Undoubtedly a cool film, pure entertainment, not deep and meaningful, but funny & a film which can be watched over & over again!

I read a comment that this film was Johnny Depp's "gayest performance ever" and that the true acting came from Orlando Bloom. This outrages me! If that person knew anything they would know that Johnny Depp's character was DRUNK all the time... which is why he had to ACT in such a manner... and I don't have anything against Orlando Bloom but Johnny Depp by FAR had the best character in this Movie! You should look into things before you judge. Captain Jack Sparrow wasn't gay at all! in fact he was practically a womanizer!

I say to the person who posted that: I think this is an EXTRAORDINARY movie and that you should not post things that aren't true... It took GOOD acting to act drunk throughout an entire movie!

"Pirates of the Caribbean" is one of the best films I have ever seen. It is an adventure film which is very funny at it has some romantic touches, too. The veteran actor Jonhy Depp is excellent in his part as the old salt "Jack Sparrow", Geoffrey Rush is the best choice for the part of the bad character and the attractive Orlando Bloom promises to turn into one of the most important young actors in Hollywood just like Keira Knightley. The exotic landscapes and all the setting are some of the best aspects of "Pirates of the Caribbean", but I would critizise one thing: you would know the skeletons of "Captain Barbosa" screw were made by computers, but it is great. I think I will never see a better pirates film. In fact, I have never been interested in this kind of films till I have seen this one.
