Une équipe de chefs (2003)
NEW YORK -- The Disney Channel has completed production on Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off, an original film with Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin on board as executive producer. Set to air on the cable network in the summer, Cook-off chronicles the plight of a 14-year-old baseball star who is torn between his athletic career and his love for cooking. Taylor Ball (Still Standing) plays Eddie, and the film features a cameo by celebrity chef Bobby Flay (Food Nation), making his cinematic debut. He plays himself. Matlin is executive producing Cook-off with Jack Jason, who came up with the story with Rick Bitzelberger and Dan Berendsen (The Scream Team). The teleplay was written by Berendsen. A joint effort from the Disney Channel and Solo One Prods., Cook-off is directed by Paul Hoen (Even Stevens).
