About Fishy - the short film

I saw Fishy about a year ago and was struck by how beautiful it was. Really stunning and evocative and just different from a lot of other shorts I've seen.

It's kind of an oddball vision of the world that is completely believable when you're in it. Also, it seemed as if it were the product of a crazy new voice (a la Charlie Kaufman etc).

I've seen two other shorts by the same director (Plain Hunger and Loaf) and they're very different from each other in subject / genre / look but similarly 'other' - entertaining, emotional and also 'yikes', a bit different, shocking in parts - like seeing Blue Velvet for the first time...

Fishy is definitely worth seeing!
