Exec produced by Patton Oswalt and directed by Steven Feinartz, The Collapse is described as a true Pepitone rant-and-romp as he barrels through the heightened emotions and anxieties of modern life. The comedian, who is currently starring in the third season of NBC’s Lopez vs. Lopez, has partnered with Truly Original, the production company behind series such as The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Ink Master, to develop a number of unscripted projects.

“SNL” host Dave Chappelle opened his monologue on Saturday night by recounting how hard he tried to get out of hosting the show, then launched into a nearly 17-minute set that touched on everything from the LA wildfires and Trump to Palestine and Jimmy Carter.
Chappelle said that in October, Lorne Michaels called and asked him to host the first “Saturday Night Live” show after the presidential election “and I said nah I’m cool, I got all this money and stuff,” the comedian recounted. Chappelle said he finally agreed and “the moment I said yes, LA burst into flames.”
Thus began a segment of the monologue that elicited some uncomfortable laughter.
“This is the most expensive natural disaster that’s ever happened in United States history. And you want to know why I think that is? Because people in LA have nice stuff. I could burn 40,000 acres in Mississippi for like $600 or $700,” he joked.

But he hated how he ended up on the show in the first place. Podcaster Kevin Brennan tweeted a story covering the former Friends star’s passing and wrote, “Drowned In A Hot Tub. Hahahaha.”

Bill Burr is a comedy powerhouse. Not only does he sell out arena shows across the country, but he is also a talented actor, writer, and now director. His directorial debut, Old Dads, is set to release on Netflix in October, and if the film is half as funny as the recent trailer, we're in for a treat. But more on that in a bit. Burr has been appearing in television and film since the 1990s, and he clearly has no plans to slow down any time soon. He's appeared in projects like Chappelle's Show, Breaking Bad, New Girl, and The Simpsons. His adult animated show F Is for Family premiered in 2015 and had an impressive five season run. Netflix, given its massive pool of options to choose from, it’s easy to assume we can stream any TV series at our leisure. It is true, but only to a certain extent, as although numerous shows like Stranger Things, Lucifer, and many others have been lying around on the platform for years, there is a catch. Many TV shows that you could have been added to your list leave the streaming service on a regular basis and, more often than not, on a monthly basis.
In July, Netflix had to let go of some popular series such as Chappelle’s Show, A Touch of Green, and Baby Ballroom, perhaps, due to licensing issues or some other unknown concerns. In any case, the coming month of August also appears to be a big blow for the subscribers who may have been planning to watch a few shows but were unable to do due to time constraints.

Director Frank Darabont’s underrated Stephen King adaptation “The Mist” exits on June 21, while the end of the month brings the exits of “Jerry Maguire,” “Puss in Boots,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” a pair of “Resident Evil” movies and Brad Pitt’s pretty-ok zombie actioner “World War Z.”
Also departing on June 30 is the first two seasons of “Chappelle’s Show.”

While none of Netflix's significant hitters are leaving the streamer this month, there are still a few gems that will be missed. Puss in Boots will be making a grand exit at the end of the month, alongside the Brad Pitt-led zombie thriller, World War Z. That's not the only horror adjacent film leaving Netflix this month. Shows like Family Guy take many forms, as there are several reasons why the hit animated Fox series has lasted for as long as it did. Premiering in 1999, Seth MacFarlane created the show as a more absurdist take on The Simpsons. While both shows are about family units going through various slapstick situations, Family Guy took it over the line when it came to off-the-wall humor. The Simpsons seem almost tame in comparison to Family Guy, as the former is more like an animated sitcom, while the latter is like sketch comedy with a loose story tying all the gags together.
After Fox canceled the show after three seasons, fans protested and DVD sales convinced Fox to bring it back. The project marks the actor and musician’s third collaboration with Netflix following her popular destination romances, 2021’s “Resort to Love” — which spent four weeks on the streamer’s global top 10 film list — and 2019’s “Falling Inn Love.”
Milian will executive produce and star in “Meet Me Next Christmas,” playing Layla, who, in pursuit of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams, must race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.
The film also stars Devale Ellis, Kofi Siriboe and Kalen Allen, alongside the Grammy-winning a capella group Pentatonix.
Directed by Rusty Cundieff, “Meet Me Next Christmas” is written by Molly Haldeman and Camilla Rubis. Mark Roberts is producing the project, while Simon Lythgoe and Matt Code executive produce alongside Milian.

A number of great movies are leaving HBO Max at the end of March, so it’s time to prioritize these titles in your queue. Filmmaker James Gunn’s sequel/soft reboot “The Suicide Squad” will depart the streaming service on March 22 after first hitting HBO Max the same day it was released in theaters back in 2021. Similarly, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” was whisked away on March 1 after also getting a day-and-date release in 2021 (sorry/not sorry if you missed it).
You also only have until March 7 to stream “Just a Boy From Tupelo: Bringing Elvis to the Big Screen,” a short documentary on the making of the Oscar-nominated biopic “Elvis.”

The big ticket item on HBO Max this March is undoubtedly Succession Season 4 on March 26. Part prestige drama and part screwball comedy, Succession is about as fun a watch as they come. Season 4 of the series about egregious wealth will find the Roy siblings reeling after trying and failing to take down their father, Logan (Brian Cox).
HBO Max’s other major TV option this month is another weekly release from HBO. Matthew Rhys returns as the titular lawyer in Perry Mason Season 2 on March 6. Season 1 of this period piece reboot flexed the classic TV character’s detective skills. From the look of the trailer, it seems as though this is the year Perry makes his name in the court room.

Whenever Dave Chappelle hosts “Saturday Night Live”, he makes sure to give longtime fans a little treat by bringing back some iconic characters from his famed sketch comedy series “Chappelle’s Show”.
This time around, Chappelle once again introduced the segment (just like he used to do on his own show) and joked about how much he loved the “Game of Thrones” prequel series “House of the Dragon”, but that the show’s Black characters threw him for a loop.
“I got to tell you, I love that they’re including Black characters. But to be honest, the Black characters, they take me out of it a bit,” Chappelle said. “It’s the blonde hair and old timey accents. It’s a little jarring. Where are these people from?”

Tyrone Biggums, Rick James and Silky Johnson are now “Game of Thrones” canon. The original “Chappelle’s Show” characters were resurrected for a very special “House of the Dragon” sketch on “Saturday Night Live.”
Returning host Dave Chappelle brought back three characters from his sketch series, which ran from 2003 to 2006 on Comedy Central. Similar to his show, Chappelle re-appeared after his 15-minute opening monologue ridiculing Kanye West for his antisemitic comments, and gave this pre-recorded video a little set up.
“Anyone out here watching this new show, ‘House of the Dragon,'” Chappelle asked the crowd, mic in hand. “I am the biggest ‘Game of Thrones’ fan, I love their new show. Back from a commercial break, Dave Chappelle returned to the Saturday Night Live stage to address the audience and asked if they were watching House of the Dragon before introducing a spoof sneak peek of the HBO series – with some help from some of his Chappelle’s Show characters.
“I am the biggest Game of Thrones fan, I love the new show,” he said. “And I gotta tell you, I love that they are including Black characters but, to be honest, the Black characters — they take me out a little bit with the old time accents, it’s a little jarring like where are these people from.”
Chappelle then says that Lorne Michaels got a hold of an exclusive sneak peek of Season 2 of the show and introduced a previously recorded sketch.
Chappelle’s Show regulars Silky Johnson, Tyrone Biggums and Rick James all showed up alongside original cast member Donnell Rawlings.

Dave Chappelle, whose 2021 Netflix comedy special “The Closer” set of a firestorm of criticism for its trans-phobic content, is mostly behind the scenes on his latest Netflix project: “Chappelle’s Home Team,” a series of four stand-alone comedy specials, with the first premiering on Feb. 28.
