fake story, but real life events

The literal translation of the title of this film is: Emergency Stop

Although the story itself is a fake, but similar disasters in real life happens frequently. In fact, the part of the movie in which the passenger van went over the cliff and eventually exploded into flames were used in the road safety educational film, which is viewed by drivers, passengers and pedestrian alike.

However, there film failed to explore the fatal loophole in the traffic law at the time: the reason the van exploded was because in addition to passengers, the driver also carries several tanks of gasoline for cargo transportation. Regulation about flammable and explosive material only applied to large capacity tankers, and this loophole was not eliminated until the late 1990's legal reforms when the traffic law was finally updated.
