    A very memorable episode.

Murphy is elated to discover he's been tasked with looking after snooker pro Mickey Monday. Monday is under pressure to throw a match at a large snooker tournament.

One of the show's most memorable episodes, it really is a classic, it has it all, a great story, terrific characters, humour and best of all Adrian Dunbar. It's a little different as Murphy isn't exactly undercover.

Adrian Dunbar, what needs to be said, the guy is a class act.

It's so great to see Dennis Taylor in the commentary box, his presence adds a degree of authenticity. Lovely also to see Julia Hills, Monday's love interest, known to millions as 2.4 children's Rona.

There's some nice humour throughout once again, Carter and the vodka tangerines, and the night light cameras, fortunately time has changed some things for the better.

    9/10.

    Better than many TV Dramas.

This is an example of how well the British can do TV Drama when they have a good cast of stock character actors, (lead by James Nesbitt who is excellent as the somewhat wayward Tommy), and the benefit of clever sharp witted scripting, combined with tight direction. Nesbitt has the right amount of cheek and dubious charm to flirt with the attractive co-star Claudia Harrison. The story manages to keep you guessing and has enough suspense to stop you running off for a tea break. In common with some other Brit productions at times the local and Irish dialects can be hard to follow. But overall considerably better than many similar Cops/Robbers Shows.
