    Tragic

This film, I believe anyways, portrays tragedy at its strongest peak. I thought it was incredibly sad and tragic, mainly due to the fact that many people struggle within relationships similar to what this film portrays.

Joe, a seldom nice guy who is a totally abusive alcoholic violent mess of a man is paired with Sam, a beauty of a person - inside and out. She captures a more optimistic and kinder side to this dynamic.

Unfortunately, the film ends tragically, as suggested by the plot. The notions pushed for in this film aren't new by any stretch and have been portrayed in a lot of cinema. But what I think I enjoy about it is that for all the flaws every character has, for every vice, there is always a connection to the real experiences of every day folks. And that is what will live on, for eternity.

I enjoyed the acting. I loved them all but particularly Wright and Donovan's duo. The chemistry was there and beautifully acted out. The true high points of the film, I believe.

I found myself rather sad by the end - since it is impactful and somber. Once a person is gone, they are gone. Forever. Loss is such a powerful thing.

Nevertheless, I found this film to be a nice little low budget thing. Speaking of which, the budget isn't high or anything, really on the lower side of things. But anybody can still enjoy this piece of cinema. It's worth it.
