Ram Teri Ganga Naagin!!

Naag Nagin review :

The year 1989 saw maximum Naagin movies releasing at the box office - Nigahen (Nagina Part 2), Tu Naagin Main Sapera, Nache Naagin Gali Gali and Naag Nagin. Sadly, all these movies proved to be flops at the box office.

Naag Nagin starring the Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985) pair - Rajiv Kapoor and Mandakini - appeared quite dated and lacklustre even in 1989. The plot revolved around Manda who played the ichaadhari naagin seeking revenge on the guys who killed her lover Rajiv. That way, it was a faithful remake of Raj Kumar Kohli's far superior Nagin (1976). The ever sexy Manda looked damn charming as the shape shifting snake but still didn't succeed in pulling the audience to the theatres. A colossal flop of a film!!
