Gopi played by Mithun da, a village simpleton, does nothing except playing with friends or acting in village drama company. He lives with his Grandmother Shanti devi played by Lalita Pawar & his young sister. Circumstances compels him to leave his village & go to Shantipur, another village far away where two evils Sarpanch played by Prem Chopra & Zamindaar played by Kader Khan is looting the villagers & torments them. Gopi becomes a fake CBI Inspector & assisted with Masterji's daughter played by Bhanupriya, he makes plan to bring down these two evil villains.
This movie is a typical old Bollywood movie where rich are evils & oppress the poor villagers by taking their land or their women. Lot's of drama, action, cliched dialogues, poor songs make this movie a one time watch only. I watched it only for Mithun da who towers above all others. Kader khan is same with his witty dialogues Prem Chopra also repeats his old mannerisms which we are so used to watching. Rest of the cast is passable. Good to see Shakti Kapoor & Neelu Phule in a positive role.
