Nora Lane annoys Edward Nugent on the beach, making a play for him, then discovers he is Tom Moore's butler... except that it's Moore who is Nugent's butler in a charade.
It's a well-timed late Mack Sennett short comedy directed by William Beaudine under a pseudonym for some reason. Perhaps he thought, not unreasonably, that he was slumming in short comedy at this stage in his career. He had been doing well until a year or two earlier, but the market for directors was undergoing a downturn. He would head off to Great Britain, and on his return, all he could find in the way of jobs was in Poverty Row pictures.
In any case, here's proof that he could still do the job. Grady Sutton has a nice bit as a practical joker whose gags backfire, Sennett muse Marjorie Beebe has a nice supporting role, and Si Jenks a nice gag fishing for sardines.
