MOVIE SHORT ALOT OF FUN BUT SOME PEOPLE DIDN'T LIKE IT!

Mafia movie madness was a very funny short which won the 2003 coca cola refreshing filmmakers award that was in our theatre's (pacific)for a short time about 1 month.I happened to see it before the ITALIAN-AMERICAN LEAGUE complained to the coca cola company and had it yanked form all the theatre's They said they didnt't like the idea of having the MAFIA always acting like goons. I thought it was funny, having the box office dude asking an older senior lady for i.d., one guy tring to bring in outside drinks gets roughed up some at the door, A big dude at the consession counter pushing his large cokes when the customer only wants a small coke, A father figure with a baseball bat telling customers that "ANY YOU DUDE'S MAKE ALOT OF NOISE YOU GONNA HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME CAPISH? and one goon trying to hog a little girls popcorn before the show starts gets slapped for his trouble IT WAS ALOT OF FUN WHILE IT LASTED!

    Great Short

Mafia Movie Madness was the most creative Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Award I've seen. The most upsetting part is, it was pulled after only 3 weeks of being in theaters. The Italian American Coalition made a big fuss over it. Why? Because they have nothing better to do. I see nothing but good things for the NYU Tisch Grad student, Director Jordan Ross, and I look forward to watching his next short that is currently in production, "Three Blind Mice."

An opening crane shot needed more people, so most of the crew jumped in to fill the holes.
