    A bad film

I have never heard of this film, so I have no idea if it ever was in a real movie theater. I also have never heard of the film's stars, yet I went ahead and rented this movie. I use the term, movie, very loosely, as it was a very unsatisfying viewing experience. Very bad acting. I mean really bad. And the story line was very poor. Something along the lines of two very unattractive teens who want to be DJ's, and what is supposed to be comedy situations revolving around this so called plot. I had previously thought that "Attack of the killer tomatoes" was the worst film I had seen. But now this DJ film has eclipsed the former film as the worst film I ever had to sit through. I am 18 years old, so I usually like teen comedies. I even can manage a smile if a film is only semi-decent. But honestly, I never laughed once watching this. I did, however, frown at this piece of mush and would never dare sit through it again. It is beyond bad. It is stupid. Really lame. Blah!

Why hasn't this movie been picked up?

I saw this movie at one of it's showings and really enjoyed it. I think it's really good for a first effort in writing and directing. Better than a lot of movies that seem to be out there. I have been following Thomas Nicholas' career for years and for someone so young to take on such a huge project as making a movie is awesome. I hope the industry is paying attention to it. The story has a plot and a moral. It is aimed at younger adults, but older ones can enjoy it too. Even though it is about DJ's it could be about the struggles of any two brothers to make it in this world and what an impact it could have on their relationship if things go wrong. I hope it gets picked up by someone soon!

    Awesome Flick!

Got a chance to see this flick at the Vail Film Fastival while I was in the States. Nearly fell off my chair a couple of times. The guy that played Kevin in the American Pie movies is in it. (Was he the guy from Rookie of the Year??). Damn funny stuff.

Anyway... cool soundtrack, decent performances all round, great story line. It's actually a pretty original story, which is a nice change from the usual re-hash movies we get these days. It's really weird that a bigger studio didn't pick it up.

Go see it as soon as possible.

The best movie I saw at the Sundance Film Festival... watch it!!!

I was invited to watch this film whilst at the Sundance Film Festival and I was massively impressed with the comic talent displayed in this film....

Both the writing and acting was first class with a commendable comic performance from all of the cast... most notable was Thomas Ian Nicholas (aka Thombo) of American Pie fame, Tim Scarne (aka Timbo), and Caleb Moody (Larry).

I will look forward to the next films in which the afore-mentioned three will be appearing... and for now my only advice is......

    GO SEE THE FILM!!

    You're wrong

You are not looking at the film from the right frame of mind. The reason your reactions are so strong are the same reasons why you should rent the movie again. You clearly don't get it. It's a different kind of film in a time when everything is special effects and vampires. This is the type of movie you have to read between the lines on. That's why I'm fairly certain the two negative comments below are part of a smear campaign. They are simply trying to stunt the growth of the film in the DVD market. It ain't gonna happen guys. I got news for you.... there are far too many people in our corner. I have received personal messages and witnessed peoples reactions in theaters and screenings all over the world. And yes, some people don;t get it. Because they are not dialing into the humor. Then there are other people who catch on and think it's the funniest movie they have seen in a long time. Well, please tell everyone you know how bad my movie is, because if you are what I think, then it won't matter because nobody will believe you anyway. Which that's precisely why you write anonymously over the internet. If you have any courage at all, send me an email @info@ladjthemovie.com. Sincerely,

    Tim Producer
